It makes no difference if I run half an hour later at all. Also I lost quite the interest in CK since some time (actually in playing any computer game). Still I would play as sub if needed, as I don't want to stop playing totally. So I know if I can play and don't have to fear the AI screws it up.

Tzare seems to me quite nationalistic. Asking him to switch from his homecountry to the main enemy is quite strange.

It was merely a suggestion. Besides, it's just a game. If nothing else, it could be RP-ed(Serbia is conquered, but the valiant dynasty stages a rebellion from within and seizes the combined Serbo-Croatian crown). Again, merely a suggestion.

Ive tested some in Sp and Serbia is not doomed yet, but if i cant make it this session, atleast the first hour then Serbia will probably be gone. I just dont like to switch countries in mid game regardless how bad it goes . But it would be fine for me to change to Croatia.

I'm sorry if this sounded harsh, I just thought so because you played your homecountry, and I know quite a lot of Serbs and also Croats who are nationalists, which seemed to me rather normal. Although this was then of course a prejudice, which I am sorry for.

We won't start late since it didn't matter to CSK, 15.00 GMT it is. Don't know about postponing since no one have commented on the suggestion, but unless something else is explicitly decided, we will start playing in about 1 hour & 10 minutes.

I really hate to do this on such short notice, but I had a great deal of trouble falling asleep last night. I cannot do my job, which is a nine-hour shift, on three hours of sleep. I hate working Sundays.

I've got to catch up on my sleep. I'm really sorry about this. Next week I shouldn't have work, as we won't have a grand-reopening twice.

OK everyone, unless I'm mistaken we now have six players who will be absent, of which two have subs(Lurken & Kujy) and one is out as a permanent player(CSK). We also have two uncertain(Joohoo & Insane). We're getting close to a 50% absence here. Therefore I suggest that we postpone this session one week.

I'd say you postpone it rather than play.

Btw, Bin, as sub, even when a rather permanent one, I will retire from being second GM, if I still am of course, and you choose who gets it.

I would have said Sterk for the afford he put in it or Varyar, who would be my first choice, but you rather do that yourself.

The choice lies by bin and me. Important are:

-excact knowledge of the rules and also no whining about them (which would rather disqualify Sterk after the first game, he didn't know the crusading rules and was complaining about them)

-the effort you put into the game (Sterk qualifies here very strongly since he created a new thread, as well as making one in the EU2 forum. Varyar shows quite some effort now)

-being generally just, if there is a problem, don't only think of your own good etc. This point goes to Varyar IMO.

-reliability, how sure can we be you are there the next game, will you tell if you can play or not, will you just drop and leave chaos without real reason etc. I go with Varyar here too, mainly since Sterk didn't show up in another game I was in without telling at all.

Generally I would go with Varyar. Other than that, personally of course Kujy, but I think his effort in the game is not more than an average player would do. And personally I would be against Sterk, but still he does very good work. Lurken has of course also quite an impact, but he plays the superpower in the game, and that makes his actings as an objective GM questionable.

But it's totally bin's choice. This game is no real democracy, and I think as it was bin's idea and his game he should say who get's GM.

Won't see me next Sunday either.

Me neither. I will not be at home, and one reason to quit playing regurarily was the day and time every second weekend, so to say the one next week.

Only 5 people showed up so we decided to postpone next session until next sunday. No reason to have more than half the player's countries screwed by the AI.

Maybe you should think of getting a different connection (dsl or something else) instead?
