Rules:
1 Use the latest Beta avaliable. If a new one comes out update to it.
2 No grabing another players MAIN title. Periferary titles are fair game though.
3 No Crusading outside the Target Area unless you have crusader trait
5 Try to play your characters traits.
6 Provinces with in any of your titles you possess, or provinces with no Kingly title are always fair game(barring Rome of course).

So far we're playing on mondays. Though another round of picks for days with Thursday at #1 would swing it in favor of that day instead. Either is fine by me.

Thursday might be better as it would give us more time to discuss groud rules.

Yeah, I know, but I was thinking about my enemi... err... co-players "Kingdoms of the North" implies only northern (kingdoms?) are selectable, but where is the south-north border?

I dunno, I guess Occitan France, Italy, South Germany(South of what is Sachen in EU2 that is), Hungary would be considered "South Europe."

As Connacht I'm obviously going for the Irish crown, and I belive cheech was picking Scotland, and Konrad der Rote, Saxony.

Why wouldn't I be allowed to conquer north Sweden and Finland? I think it's a good idea to limit grabs to county titles

To prevent the unrealistic extermination of the Moslims/Pagans by 1150.

But those rules are not set in stone(and I am by not way trying to run the show). Just trying to get some discussion going.

think we should severly limit crusades btw don't think that we wan' to see half of the holy land captured , muslims ai destroyed ect by players mayby just ban it ?

The way I see it, title grabbing is a bit too cheap as it is. However, I don't have a big issue with it so long as it happens between players - I'd rather have a rule restricting grabs from the AI.

On crusading, I'd say that a crusader is free to crusade where he pleases to crusade, and that during a crusade, everyone should crusade where it feels natural to him to do so.

However, I'd like to have some limitations to how many Kingdom titles a player can hold. Maybe this is just me, but I just think the map gets ugly when one ruler controls several Kingdoms. I want to rule one Kingdom, no more, no less.

If, for instance, the King of Norway sails off and creates the Kingdom of Portugal, the decisive incentive for him to do so is not to become King of Norway and Portugal. Of course, in game terms, such a move would mean that he had greater control of the christian duchies within Portugal, but that is, in fact, just game mechanics, and I feel that a proper King should disregard such technicalities, and before the start of the upcoming session decide upon which of the two Kingdoms he would like to keep.

I think the plane jane default 1066 rulers would be fine. Imho.

Whoa, the difficulty setting decides the price of grabbing titles! I wasn't aware of that.

Let's crank it up to very hard, and ditch the grab-rule, unless there are any negative side effects.

On very hard a count title would cost about 750 iirc. Might be a problem for me, but I can always switch to a stronger duchy.

if you play very hard people will just bash muslims. I think expansion in europe is better.
