Byak, isn't 100 prestige AND piety per province given to KoJ a little too much? Currently Hungary gets a reward for 5 provinces, France for 8, Poland for some ungodly amount... With that kind of piety gain it's easy to go for a Christian conquest spree.

Well, if you think it's too high, we can discuss lowering it. Nobody has objected to it so far, although I remember talking about it a few times, not to mention the first post where I gathered all the rules when starting. So we are just having the first convenient number I thought up as a reward.

EDIT: Although 800 piety isn't that much really, considering other rewards gained from KoJ Crusade. I myself got 1000 piety from taking Jerusalem (or actually 2000 from taking it twice...) and I think good old Sterkie got thousands and thousands of points as he had Crusader trait.

Sterk needs to decide who the Pope will be. One option is simply creating a generic bastard son of Kazimierz III (using the character creation rules in this thread) and making him Pope.

Usti nad Labum needs to be edited to Germany.

And, as I said in-session, another option is to appoint a Rose Pope.

Usti nad Laben is a bishopric, so transferring it to german vassalship should do.

I think Solmyr should create a random character with some ecclestical edu, polish name and polish dynasty, who would be not be related to Sterk and then have him as Pope.

An Apology

I'm very sorry for my behavior on Saturday, and I really hope that you can find it in your hearts to forgive me. I woke up on Saturday with a fever, and by gametime I was feverish, sickly, and irritable. I guess you could say I wasn't really being myself. I know that my conduct was inexcusable, and please believe, I am very ashamed of myself. If you don't want me to participate in your game any longer, I understand completely. I would simply ask that you don't judge me by this one episode, as it was totaly out of character for me, and I do regret giving you a bad impression. So ya, I'm very, very, very sorry. Friends?

Meh, ok. By the way, Italy's still in good shape, it lost only its Scottish vassals and one or two counties. I do know what it feels like to get ganged like that, I've played Poland in EU2 and Hearts of Iron... so np.

Unfortunately Pope is elected from available bishops, archbishops and diocese bishops, not by dynastic succession. So a son succeeding his father as a pope is very rare.

Not really. I think he has to appoint adults to be bishops, so that wouldn't help you.
