What interest does the margrave have in keeping Mecklemburg?
For Sweden it would prove quite useful in uniting their overseas baltic provinces, but for Brandenburg it has no particular value.
Until this province is in Swedish hands, relations between BB and Sweden are hostile.

The Ottoman Empire 1528-1548: Religious Turmoil
In the year 1528, Russia declared war upon the Ottoman Empire. Strangely enough, the Sultan ordered all troops to stand down. None of his citizens understood, but the enormous respect for Caelin Elessedil kept them from disobeying. The Russian quickly captured Lugansk and sacked Constantinople, the capital of our Empire. After this, it became clear what the Sultan's plan was. Lugansk, a worthless russian province, was ceded to Russia since it increases instability in the Empire. Also, the sacked city of Constantinople was rebuild in even more glory with the money sent by the Russians in war indemnities. Tunisia, Algiers, Siebenburgen and Aden decided in that time to join our glorious Empire, and they were welcomed with open arms.
Then, years of peace followed. Bureaucratic measures that were delayed because of war in previous decennia were finally carried out. Tax collectors were promoted in every province, and infrastructure research increased. Also, missionaries were sent out to many provinces in the Empire, converting them to the one true faith. An important triumph for the Sunni faith came at the moment when all of the Catholic, Slavonic provinces of former Hungary were converted to Sunni:
We reached LT 14. We decided to make use of the NAP with Austria and Poland and focus our attention to the east. Persia was DoWed. Quickly, the Empire's far superior forces pushed deep into Persia, controlling all the land up to Tabriz. Then Oman, Persia's ally, was targeted and quickly dispensed. They were force converted to the true Sunni Faith! Persia ceded all non-persian cultured provs it had in the west, apart from Armenia, which they would not give up. One Sunni prov was taken from Nubia too, in other news. In the meantime, war had engulfed Europe. Russia declared war upon Poland and Lithuania, while Brandenburg and Austria were warring the Netherlands and England. France then helped Poland. In the end, Austria/BB won and Russia won. In 1548, with governors and chief judges everywhere, and 19 provinces added to our Empire, we can confidently say that these were 20 good years for the Ottoman Empire.

They play with extremely high base tax values, making it a little easier to tech fast. And it of course leads to more census tax, making it easier to finance all these governors and judges.

Country Rankings
1) The Ottoman Empire: Big and scary now has infra 5 quite a way ahead of everyone else. Still got what I assume to be a loyal ally in Venice and with the Persian provinces secured in the east all roads go to Vienna.
2) Spain: Similiar to the ottoman empire, big and scary with a huge income, however it is matched by Spains inflation, however that may be helped by infra 5 if Joohoo has the patience to wait for the govenors to work it off. Seems to be surrounded by allies although this leaves him no space to expand apart from in the colonies.
3)France: Bal is in a similiar situation as to the start of the session but with several hundred thousand men left dead in Russia. Inflation also increased but Frances economy has expanded, I will asume he has had success in his colonial ventures and the money is pouring in. Seems to be surrounded by friends everywhere so makes for a rather dull western europe.
4)Portugal:Still getting rich and corrupt from the plentiful supplies coming in from the colonies, I will assume things went well in the colonisation front though portugal is not involved in any way with the European community it seems. The drums of peace met with erratic results as at some point it drove more countries to war.
5)England: Still hyperteching, though I did see some evidence of English troops in Holland during the early years, however they did not manage to help Holland stave off defeat. With no conflicts between the other colonisers it seems a deal has been worked out.
6)Sweden: Finally managed to take out Denmark and are now set to bring the fight out of Scandavia, were in control of mecklemburg for a small time, however lost it to a coalition of Austria, Brandenburg and Poland and must be getting rather annoyed about it. Still friends with the rather beserk Czar in the east though .
7)Austria: Pulled off a remarkable recovery courtesy of the ottoman NAP and some rather succesful wars. Parts of the lowlands were recovered and there was much rejoicing, protestants were eradicated and there was also much rejoicing, Austria also was an ally with many of the wars that sprang up in Europe, and his aid helped Brandenburg recover their provinces from Sweden and even attempted to fight the Comrade in russia, however his troops made no differences either time.
8)Venice: Nearly doubled their income but otherwise an unremarkable session, apart from some rather poorly delivered insults at the expense of the russian army. Still got the Uber OE protecting them but one wonders if war with austria is far now that the NAP has expired...
9) Brandenburg: Also doubled their income and recovered provinces lost to the NLs and Sweden after several wars and the help of their austrian allies. However they do seem to be standing directly in the way of Gustav Adolph, which is not an enviable position to be in.
10)Poland: Despite having the advantage of being in friendly country, 2 good leaders and 2 highly advances and numerous allies they still lost the majority of Lithunia to the Russian armies, although this did enable them to annex the remains of Lithunia. Their weakness has brought the pity coming from austria and France and they must keep it to have any chance of holding on to what remains of Lithunia.
11) NL: At the moment Konrad is not in a good position with his country nearly halfed and surrounded by if not hostile then not friendly powers. However a huge rush of Manus has been commissioned and Holland may well go back to what it is made for, a trading and colonising power, but still an allaince with Sweden could lead to an attempt to take back what was taken from them by the germans.
