The Kingdom of Sarir
It was a small Christian Kingdom next to the Caspian Sea, most likely of Turkic Avars, that was able to defeat several surrounding small Islamic Kingdoms.

I know little of modding, and I am so busy at college now I don't have a whole lot of time to learn. I just wanted to make the existence of this polity known.

That would actually be really easy to make mate,I'm busy with my own mod atm but adding in a kingdom is pretty simple.

More like the caspian sea according to that link. In between Khazars (a orthodox cuman vassal in game) and derbent (sunni persians), which is the county of kuma (named after the river?) in the game, a vassal of the Alans.

Which has the Alan territory a lot smaller. By that map it would be in the province of derbent or kartli.
