The year is 4865 according to orthodox faith, and the first king of the newly unified kingdom of Rus, Vladimir, has passed away, 52 years old. The Russian tzardom is inherited by his youngest and strongest son, prince Nikita Rurikovich, and in the capitol of Vladimir, there was much rejoycing. The red sun of Vladimir is shining from the shores of the White sea in the far north to the land of the Alans in the south, and son, it's bright light will burn out the heretics and un-believers everywhere, as the sons of Rosh will claim their rightful path as the chosen people of the lord.

My goal with establishing the Kingdom of Rus is to establish a vast Russian empire, where the goal is to make all of Europe, as far as west as possible into a political unit controlled by the Russian tzars, a unit which is ethnically Russian and religiously Orthodox. A possible personal union between Rus and the Byzantine empire would comprise all of the Orthodox world into one unit.
I do not know if I want to conquer the Middle East, although virtual Russian control of the eastern half of the map would secure that flank at least until the 13th century [and by then I hope the tzardom will be so huge and so technically advanced that it would be able to stop the Mongol advance].
The final goal is to create an empire comprising of all the map, from Island to Basrah and the Aral Sea, and from Maghreb to the Samoyeds, a unit which would be inherited by the Russians rulers in Europa Universalis II and later on in Victoria, an empire stretching the northern hemisphere.
