Hiya all you resident CK gurus, couple of new quandaries of for you.

1 - Kingdom devolution
When you have a realm which encompasses more than one kingdom, if you decide to parcel off a kingdom, what realms go to what kingdom?
At the moment, I can see two possibilities
i. Only the new king's already existing vassals and demense form the new kingdom
ii. The new kingdom forms out of it's traditional counties.

ie: Let's assume you've got Castille, Leon and France as one united realm.
You make the Duke of Provence the new King of France, while your main man stays King of Castille and Leon.
Scenario i would mean:
Kingdom of France is composed merely the Duke of Provence's lands and his vassals.
Scenario ii would mean:
Kingdom of France is composed of Provence, Brittany, Limousin, etc.

2 - Far away counties
Is it possible to kick out far away counties/vassals from your realm?
ie: As Jacques Capet, King of France, I inherit the county of Skane. With Skane being so far away from France proper, even if I give the land to a nobody or even make it a bishopric, it stays as part of France.
If I grant the area to someone with practically no loyalty - initially their loyalty will improve from the grant of land, but then should go down and they may eventually revolt and declare independence.
However, this is probably not desired, as you know it has a ripple affect on my more important (French) vassals. I would like to be able to send Skane packing, but not at the expense of my loyal Frenchmen.

Thank you all

Answer on first question is scenario II or Kingdom of France is composed more or less of all counts and dukes controled by you on traditional Kingdom of France territory.

On second question answer is that far away counties will alone with time leave your kingdom....
