Bah! You Kingly types have it easy. Playing Duchies is a little more challanging.

In my long term beta-marriage experiment, I am Duke of Provence, with sons as Duke of Dauphine and Duke of Savoie (don't ask why both of them are independent :D), and we "de Provence" family have Duchies of Toulouse, Poitiu, and Flanders (all quite large) in our grasp (a few more marriages are required ;)). All the aforementioned are from our dynasty, it is just a question of who inherits who. Not to mention the King of Germany, but alas, the Franconia name has remained strong despite my best efforts... And the Normandie branch of my family has some promise, but they also retain their name, so England is safe from my grasp for the moment... :D

Why do you hold soo many prince titles? I tend to give them away asap since they give presitge bonus when given to others.

You should give some of those 35 counties away... There's no need to keep that many. Just keep the ones with 15+ income.

With a rep like mine having too many vassals just isn't an option. Also, there comes a time when I just can't be bothered to find leaders (preferably family members) for all my spare counties and principalities.

Oh yeah, I'm also at war with most of the Muslim world.

King of Sweden, Aleppo, Arabia, Basra, Bolgar, Denmark, Egypt, England, Germany, Jerusalem, Lithuania, Mesopotamia, Norway, Persia, Rus, Syria and Transoxania. Duke of Abydos, Akaba, Al Hasa, Al Jazira, Alexandria, Ascalon, Aswan, Baghdad, Basra, Bourgogne, Cairo, Chaldea, Cheremisa, Cornwall, Courland, Cyrenaica, Damascus, Damietta, Esfahan, Esthonia, Euphrates, Finland, Gloucester, Gotland, Gwynedd, Hampshire, Homs, Hormuz, Kara-Kum, Karbala, Khwarizm, Kiev, Leptis Magna, Livonia, Luristan, Lut, Madaba, Mecklemburg, Medina, Mesopotamia, Moskva, Normandy, Novgorod, Oultrejourdain, Oxford, Palmyra, Petra, Podlasia, Polotsk, Pommerania, Prussia, Salisbury, Samogitia, Shiraz, Sinai, Skåne, Småland, Syria, Tabriz, Tigris, Uppland, Vladimir, Volga and Västergotland. Count of 123 Provinces. 167 Vassals.

I control basically everything but France, Orania, Morocco and southern Spain. France doesn't currently exist. I've given some kingdoms to my relatives (Hungary, Poland, Byzantium).

PS. ~152 GP income when fully mobilized. So it's basically game over now. And it's year 1161. This with normal/normal.

In my current game normal/normal, 1191 so far (only Kings, Prince title I don't remember):
King of Leon, Castilla, Aragon, Portougal, Africa; that's all.

As 1.02 is going to be primarily bugfixes, I doubt they're going to get much shorter at all.

Ah, but if some of the bugfixes relate to AI army/aggressiveness behavior, it might be more difficult to take provinces etc...thus possibly shorter lists.
