King Arthur II require Steam to Play?

Just wondering before I decide to buy it. I seen it on Gamersgate and it says on the complete addition it does, and also says its DRM free. How can it be DRM free and require Steam?

Now on the Original version it says DRM Free but nothing about Steam. So Question is does it require Steam or not? I don't want to buy it and surprise it requires Steam. I would be out a game and my money.

If you buy it on Steam or you buy a boxed version in a store, it requires Steam. If you buy it on other sites, like Gamersgate, it doesn't and it's DRM free.
