Having the same issue when I create the Kingdom of Ireland (resets from elective to gavelkind). Rather annoying esp. since I've already have three duchies which will be divided between the children when my current ruler dies. Fortuantely he's quite old so I'll just wait till he's dead and hope that his heir will last 10 years.

Is it reseting from ellective for those with problems? I had no reseting at all when I was primo....

Edit: Just formed Empire of Francia as Primo King of France. Again no reset. For those people for whom it is reseting what are your laws before you form the new primary title?

This is how it's set up prior to creating the "King of Ireland" title.

I'd report it as a bug specifically with elective then. You definatly dont get the problem with primo. report it in the bug forum and post save game.

Anyone tried upgrading their primary title while under seniority?

Mine reset from primo to gavelkind when creating the kingdom of ireland, on top of that the crown authority dropped down to whatever the lowest option is. So if I understand correctly it would take me generations to restore it to primo and I will lose all my own holdings when my current king dies. :glare:
