Hmm, so now when you watch this player who have never played this game before play do really his perform make you feel angry or might it be the fact that you can not play instead?
I´ll try to find later the youtube video I watched, in there the user was every time complaining that the robots (his words) were moving too slowly, most the videos are ok, but I think Paradox should have done a better work selecting the streamers.
That's part of the risk, dude. Some people aren't going to like the game, and some of those people will be jackasses about it.
But the fact that those people exist and are looking at the game too lends legitimacy to the enterprise. If Paradox had only hand-picked a few people that it knew would like the game, that would make their reactions feel inauthentic. The fact that a random person who's curious about the game can look up "Battletech" on Twitch and get twenty different perspectives - some of them dumb - makes the fact that most streamers seem to be enjoying the game feel more real and impactful.
That's not even counting the fact that there is no community of "safe" BattleTech streamers to circulate the keys among. Short of issuing some sort of qualifying test to streamers individually and only giving keys to the ones that "passed", which would be an even worse debacle when talk about it came out, there's no real way to know if someone is going to enjoy a relatively unproven IP like this one before hand.
No matter how good a game is, some people just aren't going to like it. That's the nature of things.

And honestly, I think it's best that people be able to see both what a game is and what it isn't. When people see something that's not for them, they mostly shrug and move on and it's fine.
Where you run into problems are when people feel like they were misled into spending money on something they dislike. That's when you get the streams full of furious comments, the Steam page full of vitriol, the thinkpieces on gaming websites, etc. So if someone doesn't like reading, or doesn't like non-Japanese mechs, or if they would rather this was a shooter, or whatver - I want them to slide on by. This game isn't for them.
