I dont really get what they chanched with the KI in this patch, i was playing as Saxon king and was at war with Charlemagne. Through a marriage i got in a alliance with the danish king.
When the war started i called in my allies and vassals and ofc raised my own man. The thing with the KI is that one baron decides to siege land from Charlemagne (with 300 men so it is completely useless) the other one walks back and forth in 2 provices and the rest of them join the danish forces which walk from Jutland to southern Norway all the time without any reason. The Danes were not at war with anyone else and no one plundered in their lands so there was no reason to move. Long story short: it is impossible to win the war against Charlemagne at this state of KI (i beat him already earlier when the KI was not going crazy, not on this patch though)
The forces of your allies and vassals should simply join up with your own men

I think he means AI.

But I disagree, It seems better to me in general. I haven't noticed any real stupidity so far.

I'm not sure that fits for two reasons:
1) K is on the opposite side of the keyboard from A
2) The patch notes specifically list what was changed to AI, so how could he say he "doesn't get what they changed" if he's talking about the AI?

I think he must be referring to the "killer instinct" of NPCs, the likelihood that they will sate their bloodthirst with war. Truly this is a little-known about trait.

I doubt someone types a perfect english post, and forgets to translate AI
You'd be surprised how often technical terms can bleed through into other languages if you've worked with them a lot.

I kind-of agree with him, though. In the past I've had issues with allied armies either camping out at home or just going to random places in warzones. Not a lot of fun when you're depending on your ally to save you and he just sits over in the next province while your army gets slaughtered. Pdox really ought to get a fix on that, or make it a bit more interactive so that the player can be blamed for mistakes as well. CKII combat has always been more than a bit wonky, but borrowing a few EU4 features like ally war interaction could greatly improve the game.
