Prologue: Khmer Rebirth

King Ponthea Yat saw as his Empire didn't had a shadow of it's former power. In less than a century, Khmer was a great Empire, but now, it lost most of it's territory and became a minor without Importance. Ponthea Yat saw that his task was not easy, but he made a promise: He would let a legacy for his sons to follow. He might not live to see, but he wants to do his part and make Khmer a true Empire once more.

Southeast Asian AARs aren't very common, so it's nice to see when they do come about.

It's also interesting to see someone trying to get by in the Big Brown Blob's backyard.

Chapter One: The Economic Boom

Ponthea Yat started his new policy quickly, sending diplomats with Alliances proposals to the Neighbouring Kingdoms of Lang Xang and Dai Viet, both being accepted. At the same time, our most loyal Counselor entered the realm saying that we must send one of the King's cousins to the Lang Xang. After doing that, lords of other realms heard about the beauty of our womem and send Marriage proposals, from Dai Viet and Lang Na.

With the passing of a year after those facts, the King decided making a visit in all cities in the Khmer land. Arriving in Siem Reap, saw the horrible conditions and spend money building new walls.

With his journey over, saw some nations making money in another form of dominion: The Economic. And with help of some merchants, It didn't take long before Khmer become the economic power in Mallaca center of Trade. The King found a way of making money for the wars to come.
