Keyboard shortcuts?

Are there any? I don't see anything listed in the manual. Seems there should at least be some for common activities as switching between mapmodes.

To build buildings, use the ledger.

AFAIK there is no shortcuts for mapmodes.

I would also like to add that the keymapper tool I made works just as well for EU3 as for HOI2/DD.

I've been experimenting with this, and it does seem that some of the F-keys, and the P key, do serve as shortcuts, but there doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to the way they work.

The F1 to F8 keys open parts of the state menu (normal access by click on icon on the top left), thats all i know...

...oh, okay, +, -, break - but thats it.

The one screen for monthly salary, tech investments does not have short cut key I cannot believe it. You have to hit 2 keys 2 get to it.

Shortcut keys are the gems behind games. Save so much time and less time clicking.

I have an old favorite game called Age of Empires 3 and when finished you can view a report on how many times you click everywhere. My average is around 3,000 clicks within 2-3 hours of a game. Thank goodness for the mfg. who made just about everything hotkey editable. Otherwise that number would probably have double to 6,000 or maybe 10,000 clicks.

Wonder if I will have early arthiritis of the index finger and now that I play EU3 I have gone back 2 steps in game evolution. But I really enjoy this game.

This is the sixth time I have posted about this problem and I intend to post once a week until hell freezes over if necessary. I did post the full list of keys on this forum but I cant find a way of seeing my previous posts.

If you click an Army or a navy and click Page up or Page down the other armies in your command will appear.

But for mee the outliner is a much better tool than any key shortcuts.

Stonehenge goto to your User CP far left on top of forum. click on that and goto the Subscribed Threads on far left half way down and choose List Subscriptions.

That will list all posts you have replied to or it should.

F1 or P = Open country window last tab pane
F2 = Country overview (only if country window is already open)
F3 = Country Military (a/a)
F5 = Country Religion (a/a)
F6 = Country Leaders (a/a)
F8 = Country Advisors (a/a)
- (num pad) slow speed
+ (num pad) increase speed
HOME/home (num pad) = Center home province
Page UP/DOWN (only works with unit window open) = next military
ESC = Close last window
Space Bar/PAUSE = Pause/unpause game
ALT + Num 1 then Num2 = Open/Close console.
Up/down/left/right = scroll screen (slowly)
c = Center current unit

PS. You should try playing this game if you suffer from Repetative Strain Injury like I do..........its literally painful to play.

Sorry, totally missed your post there.
Originally I built it for Hoi2/DD but could be mapped against the existing ones for EU3. It shouldn't really be any problem mousemapping keys to function that do not have a native key mapped to it. Problem is, I'm all soaked up in my Loss Counter project that I REALLY want to finish before any other project is initiated.

I'll be happy to answer any questions related to the tool.
