When will the Keepers of Knowlegende attack me? Any hard rules how far I can push it without them ordering me to kill all my robots? The assassination wouldn't be that big of a problem but I planed to go for the Planned Obsolescence achievement. How high can I develop my synthetic populations and still be in the green zone.

I've noticed that as a Fanatic Materialist I get just enough positive relations with them that their malus for pursuing robotics isn't enough to attack me. Right now I'm synth ascended with my borders pushing into them and taking a few systems and they don't hate me enough to attack. I suspect that they're really only a major threat when they awaken or if you don't have that Materialist bonus (though if you're going for a synth game you sort of have to be Materialist)

I can't think of any technologies, other than AI related stuff, that they don't like. Out of all the Fallen Empires, I find they tend to be the most demanding with their requests though.

though if you're going for a synth game you sort of have to be Materialist
Why? You can perfectly play Fanatical Purifiers synth an be, reasonably ok
If it wouldn't for tech blocking, we would have Fanatical Spiritualist tin-cans even
Though, yeah, it'll be easier to reach that kind of 'later stage' tech needing for ascension with materialist
