I find that it is completely ridiculous that I have to go and adjust each 10 mins the prices on tickets to keep them of particular color. Can we have some kind of auto adjust option? I am OK if all prices are simply kept white, but it would be cool, if we can set the ticket price color (say green), and even better if individual transport type even individual ticket could be automatically controlled, e.g. tram one zone - green, bus, one zone - red, bus two zones green, and so on.

For example, when you click on "auto" button somewhere in that ticket price panel, it would hold the color of all ticket constant and adjust pricing accordingly.

First I have 72 hours played, so what I say below you can base from that experience.

After a while the Ticket Price mini game becomes a big turn off. Really repetitive and turns the game in to a click-fest in a couple of menu's rather than being able to monitor and enjoy the in-game visuals.

I guess the easiest way to do this, would be to have a ("Lock Ratio" or "Use Percentages") button which will lock all the current ticket prices to the current percentage. This could adjust the price to match a percentage, rather than a fixed rate. You could then also include this same button in the wages screen ("Lock Ratio" or "Use Percentages"). But, a little padlock button should do the trick!

With the above, you pause the game, set up you current desired price structures and then click the Lock button and away you go. If you ever want to change it, just unlock it and adjust again, then lock. Not only that, but for those who may actually enjoy the ticket game, this becomes entirely optional to the player.

If you can add this feature, I'd be a very happy CiM2 player. :)

I don't mind the fluxing economy. I notice it responds to your network rather well and is a good indicator of whether you're doing things right or not. If you're increasing your network size and keeping things running reasonably well, you can justify higher prices. But, as soon as you start experiencing network problems, like backed up lines or not frequent enough service times, the economy crashes. It does fluctuate a little bit more than I like, though, but it's important to have an indicator.

I think what's frustrating about it is that there are so many things to balance, and once you do, it only lasts a short while. I think I'd prefer an "auto" function with a notification. Something like "ticket prices have risen" or "ticket prices have fallen." That way, you can focus on what we love about the game and still pay brief attention to what we're creating.

I agree that the constant whining from the game about ticket prices is highly annoying- Most transit companies raise their prices once/year not adjust it in the middle of the day several times every day. BTW this does NOT mean I just want automatic ticket pricing, I want the games economy to change no more than once/quarter!

I would, also, like to add that I noticed sometimes the ticket prices for Metro turn red at a lower cost than buses. With that 4 zone tickets are green at the same price as three zone tickets. That needs to be addressed as well. Why pay for a 3 zone monthly ticket at say $50 when you can purchase a 4 zone pass for $45?

How much do ticket prices effect CIMs using public transit? In other words, if prices are too high will they actually stop using the buses and trains? If the prices are too low will that entice CIMs to use your network? How much do ticket prices matter?

I can see that there is a desire to make players pay attention to ticket prices, so the devs might not want an "auto price" option.

A way to at least take the pain out of tuning prices would be a third button in addition to the up/down arrows that, with a single click, shifts the value to the median white value. It would keep the player involved in checking and setting prices, which I can see is an important part of the gameplay intended, but would make it a bit easier to actually set.

This option might not be suitable for all, for instance I might want to keep my prices higher , or lower than the "white" value.
