That's because he probably took unnecessary risks.

I vote for the re-liberation of our Scandinavian brothers.
I was hoping for a spring offensive in Ukraine, but both my and enemy divisions lose org so quickly when in combat, that it is practically impossible to sustain a prolonged offensive, I'll see what I can do about that. Maybe raise the GDE?

Does that mean you're going to give them land from Turkey?
Yeah I was going to do that but then the Soviets re-took almost all of Tukey back from me (which is a good thing actually, you'll find out why later) so the Greeks are going to have to wait with that.

Hungary without Zilina?
Oh come on don't be greedy - I gave Hungary much more than the other Allies think it deserves.

Well, the Soviet AI beat you in the "Blitzkrieg 1941 America" AAR you wrote
That's because:
1. I chose a wrong strategy when I back-stabbed Germany.
2. I should have nuked Soviet army stacks instead of industrial centers
3. The SU was far from being 100% AI controlled. As you may recall, I had to launch their initial nuclear strike for them so that they don't waste them on absolutely useless targets. I also had to force Germany and later USSR to deploy some of their troops to the French border, because they (especially USSR) would just never do it on its own initiative.

Any tips to an aspiring AI programmer, your work is just incredible..
Tip number 1: when you notice AI seriously fucking up, save the game, open the save file and do all possible kinds of modifications to reverse the fuckup and hopefully prevent it from happening again
Not so much for clever AI programming, is it? If you need any real tips about the AI - ask Lothos and his guys, I've learned a lot from them.

Winter struggle begins very unpleasantly...

As you might imagine when this event happened my first reaction was somewhat like OMGWTFJUSUSFUCKINGCHRISTROFLMAOZEDONG, but if you think about it it had to happen sooner or later. The problem is of course that I had absolutely no troops nearby to cover this hole.

Allied offensive continues in Palestine.

Sino-Soviet offensive again falls on the Allied armies near Crimea. Their sheer numbers are overwhelming, retreat is the only choice.

Strategic reserves are being pulled up from all over Europe to the front.

Poor allied reply to the soviet nuclear attack.

The holy city is captured, yay for the New Crusade!

Luftwaffe begins a bombing campaign in the Caucasus. The first target was intended to be the Baku oilfield, but then the command revised the operation and decided to begin with Yerevan - the capital of Armenia. Baku was successfully bombed later.

Palestine is completely captured. In the meantime I temporarily remove all carriers from the navy to let it close up on the Soviets. As a result the Red Fleet in eastern mediterranean is almost completely wiped out.

Soviet bombers are constantly attempting to bomb my airbase at Sevastopol.

After Baku oilfields have been sufficiently dammaged, the bombing begins against the industrial centre in central Russia. It is short-lived, however, because the Soviet airforce soon intervenes.

With the state the world's in, I should think Swiss neutrality is worth as much to us as it is to them; I imagine once we were temporarily kicked out of Germany the value of the Reichmark fell by quite a lot, so let's hope we used the national reserve to buy up as many Swiss francs as we could!

The troops in Crimea should go to reinforce the Palestine front.

Thankfully the allies see that only the Furher of the Greater German Reich can save Europe from this savage asiatic menace.
It's a temporary unity against a greater evil. Besides, we kicked the British out of their islands once, I'm sure they don't want it to happen again. (the former leaders of English and Scottish puppet governments still reside in Germany and hope for eventual return to Britain)

You should get the Saudis to join you...
I don't think they will be of much help, right now keeping them neutral is perhaps a better option.

Not to mention Switzerland!
I'm afraid that even a successful coup won't make them pick a side.

The troops in Crimea should go to reinforce the Palestine front.
Don't worry -Crimea will hold out.
