What's the reason that Russia/USSR gives up Central and Eastern Europe in Bitter Peace if she can do it in chain of already established events (which don't work when RUS/SOV just gives up Europe)?
Furthermore, while Russia/Soviet Russia is established as a result of BP, she gets cores on default Russian territory, but NOT what she inherits from her predecessor, as well as not on newly acquired Russo-Ukrainian borderland (which Ukraine can get as she has cores and claims here).

EDIT: Small bug in India: although I gave Bhartya Commune Andamanes and Maldives, they didn't get cores even after a long time. Other Indian states don't exist.

Aaand I see where's the problem: "}" (in last two events in Delhi Foreign Policy) is in the wrong place in the trigger (and checks if provs are cores) :D

Love this mod - found some slight modifications to the USA Naval OOB - some of the ships are wrong class
Otherwise all good.

Lost 1st time I played USA in 1938 thx to USA civil war as I invested in infastructure & Navy thinking I will make it to WW2 1st.
Then I could ramp up Army.

So, not to spoil the fun for anyone, their was one point where there was an Election - wondering if that would have changed the outcome...
Taught me the necessity of forming a standing military if only of several thousand militia men out of the gates of any game I play, single or multi-player. "Might makes right" might not have any transcendent truth to it, but it does seem to beat back entropy. Try Brazil!
 
For some reason the attacking modifier I get on my MTN divs is just 0.21, breaking them completely as a unit
I've never modded this aspect of the game, so I'm not sure what I should be looking for, but in the modifiers.csv file for kaiserreich I see for ATT_MOUNTAIN a value of -30, which I assume is the expected number (comparing it to what other units get). Any ideas about what could be going on?

Aside from that, one old complaint I have is that when southern Cyprus revolts, the ottos are unable to supply the northern half by sea, which seems unintended. It's certainly very annoying if you're playing as them

Is there an event which fires where I get Germany's Chinese colonies in exchange for peace?

Playing as Shangqing Tianguo, I rushed a DOW against the Qing in 1937 using the "Qing Fools" decision and Germany declared war on me via their guarantee, after I annexed the Qing Germany brought AoG into the war against me and I just annexed them. I have also already formed the Tian Empire.

Is there an event which fires where I get Germany's Chinese colonies in exchange for peace?

Without an event, the AI has fused fists wielding the Warhammer. Rush nukes. :)
 
Two small bugs:
- if GER somehow is allied with National France, she will cede mainland for their French ally including Alsace-Lorraine. Simply remove GER from French event about return of mainland.
- Texas revolted from Mexico, but kept being syndicalist. Not sure if it breaks some events.

Another news: November 1939 and ACW turned into stalemate between manpower-exhausted CSA, AUS and PSA.

EDIT: tiny bug. Played as German Empire, won against CoF, supported Fla-Wal claims. Soon after Fla-Wal decentralizes further and then both Flanders and Wallonia press claims on their own territory.

It would be welcome to have events for the conquer/colonization of the American states for many countries if the ACW carries on for so long.

Decisions 889042 (SOV) and 902009 (RUS) refer to expansion into Central Asia, but for unknown reason need Russia to control Krasnodar. Remove that province from triggers, as it's not needed and can block Russian/Soviet expansion.

Some small bugs:
- Russian decision about Georgia - if player chooses war it doesn't remove NAP
- if GER creates dozen of small states in Mittelafrika, their puppet Benin lozes cores on modern Niger and Burkina Faso. It's okay until somehow GER acquires Sahel and wants to liberate bunch of puppets instead one big Sahel - it's left with unwanted provinces. I propose that Benin shouldn't lose Sahelian cores.
- MAL (vanilla Union of Mali) minimum cores are badly designed - if I liberate Tuaregs and big Benin (NOT Beninkongo) half of these cores falls under other puppets territory and I can't liberate Mali.

Did you do so successfully on your copy of the 1.9.2 game? Please post results. :)
 
When I put the file in my mod folder and launched the game, Default Darkest Hour shows up. Anyone know what happened?
Have you checked whether it´s a "folder in a folder" problem?
Your directory should look like Games\Darkest Hour_1_05\Mods\Kaiserreich DH\AI...
not: Games\Darkest Hour_1_05\Mods\Kaiserreich DH\Kaiserreich DH\AI...
 
Looking for advise.

Playing as Austria, every time I declare war on Socialist Italy, they join the 3rd international and then I am war with half the planet. Did numerous reloads and tried some commands like join 2 Sicily in a defensive war and still get sucked into global war.

The 3rd international, based on my playing the mod/HOI4 for a week so not definitive, appears to be OP. I have watched 5 for 5 where France curb stomps Germany. One time where I thought we might be able to pull it out, I managed to blitz Italy and broke into southern France, Russia attacked from the east and that caused a collapse.

I want to take out Socialist Italy before France goes after Germany.

Soviet Russia is pretty rare in my games. Seems to favor the democratic varieties, then the Tzar, and least seen, the Soviets. :confused:
