"Integration of _______" event fires couple years after you decide to integrate. You will have to simply wait. Some areas take time (10 years for Poland, for example), other fire fast (Central Asia).
Thanks a lot!
Is the DH team still working on the mod after the drama with the external forum and everything went down? I am asking for a friend.
Development on the DH version has not stopped and is still ongoing. 1.9 is still going to take a while though.

Hello, I'd like to request a feature/update for when 1.9 eventually rolls out. I was playing a game as the Bharatiya Commune, and I realized that they have almost no admirals available to be used in the game. At game start they have around 2 to 3 Skill 0 zero admirals so if you want to play a naval focused game once done conquering India, it is near impossible because of the lack of admirals. Additionally, many of the admirals appear to have to be borrowed from other nations or are generic as two of them have French and British names respectively. Finally, it must have been an oversight from years ago, but the Commune appears to share a leader pool with Communist Korea, as their leaders are stored in commiekorea.csv . If there was to be a future update to the region, I feel like the Bharatiya Commune should have its own leader files as it is already a well fleshed out nation in the game. Thanks for taking the time to read this if you do.

Hello, I'd like to inform you guys that I might have found a bug/the reason why - at least some of us - experience crashes while playing the latest Kaiserreich version. I am currently playing Kaiserreich for DH 1.8 Final 3 and I've had some issues with crashes lately. I tried to figure out why these crashes happen and after browsing through some game files I noticed that whenever my game crashes, the final action that took place is that a nation tried to steal a blueprint from my country and failed! The game fIle which serves as source here is: Steam\SteamApps\common\Darkest Hour A HOI Game\history.txt. The last sentence written in this document is always " *Whatever Nation* failed to steal a blueprint from us ". Does this happen to you guys too? (Especially those who struggle with crashes too)
I'm not sure if this is just a coincidence or if this is a bug in the game, so I decided to post it here.

is it possible that the third international wins the WW2 W/O Russia ? I could only do it by inviting Russian empire using the acceptall cheat!
It's very possible. With a human playing Commune it almost doesn't matter what happens with the Black Monday events, although a slow recovery certainly helps. Especially if you have Spanish infantry divisions to fill the gaps in your lines. Just don't wait too long. You can't win a war of attrition with Germany - you must pocket and destroy their armies.

The AI French tend to suffer from the lack of manpower a lot, I think. I still see them win often enough, but if the German AI actually thinks about things, it's much harder for them to win.

Thing is though, I don't see a way to balance that beyond how it already is. If the French aren't running out of bodies, they tend to run over the Germans because of the Black Monday events. Or Russia.

Is there a way to improve the events on South America? I've tried playing as La Plata, Peru and Chile and I feel that there's a lot of events and differents paths that could be added. Also, I've seen that you can form the Peru-Bolivian Confederation in HoI 4 but not here... or I'm doing something wrong?

South America will undergo some major changes in the next version. La Plata will just be Argentina, Chile will be syndicalist, Patagonia will be a syndicalist republic and a puppet to Chile, the 'Guays are back... so there'll probably be a lot more events.

So, in my current game (Transamur) where I gave AI CoF extra manpower they beat Mitteleuropa and created the German union. In its events to decides their future armed forces, I distinctively remember German Union taking the decision to only have a 'small brown water' navy. Well, it's currently November 1941 and I loaded up as the union to investigate some stuff, and looked it their production cue....

I find they are building two aircraft carriers and TEN battleships. "Brown water", my ass! Is it possible to change a country AI's behavior if they 'decide' to only have a small defensive navy? Because it's awfully jarring to find that Syndie Germany's "small brown water" navy is apparently supposed to have almost as many capital ships as the pre-war empire.

Yes, a country can have multiple AI files and switch between them by use of events.

However, since those AI files contain quite a lot of things, it wouldn't be practical to create a wide variety of them, just to cover choices like this. Let's say you have three naval priorities - that's 3 seperate AI files. Add the airforce decision with its three possible outcomes and you now have 3x3=9 different AI files.

So the most practical solution would probably be to just tone down the ship production in the one AI file and give them a few more events that - based on their choice of navy - would "force" them to build more ships in increments of a few years.

Did Prince John did in 1919 like in OTL?

I was wondering because I've seen some talk that his disease was not guaranteed to kill him via seizures and he might have had a relatively healthy adulthood so I was curious if anyone knows his fate ITTL?

Short question... As I red the reddit about KR I saw they completely reworked Italy. Instead of 2 nations now 5 nations. When they decided to do this? Is this intended for 1.9? This totally passed me by.
