The tech and military tweaking was underway long before KRTIMP started (by about a year, actually, not long after 1.7 came out), and there is a larger overhaul in the works on the longer term. Also, China is going to be getting a major overhaul as well, being practically rebuilt from the ground up. The major components (Qing, AOG, Shangqing, etc.) are still going to be there, but in a drastically changed form with new content. (For instance, the Shangqing Tianguo are being moved from what's basically vanilla Communist China to the Shandong region, where the I-Kuan Tao/Yiguandao religion originated IRL.)

So, for my mod I tweaked Southern China to be what I thought was a bit more realistic. AOG have much less territory and a smaller army but it's more modern with an HQ division and a early 1930s airforce.

Interesting changes. However, this does lead to a bit of debuff to the RoC, as it loses territory, an ally in the Shangqing Tianguo, and, if nothing else was changed aside from what you mentioned, a loss of IC. It also means that it has to go up against a much tougher foe right from the start.

Buff to the army tech level and I moved some IC shouth as well as increasing Infrastructure to the coastal provinces. Hard to say. AoG was really easy before and I think that there can/should be event if Nationalist China either forms out of AOG or revolts that similar revolts would spring up in Qing at the same time.

Edit: What i ROC? Do you mean Yunnan or the AOG?

The Republic of China that formed from a civil war in the AOG, oftentimes after Germany cut colonial aid and the AOG chooses to cut the Iron Rice Bowl.

Anyways, it'll be interesting to see how this China turns out.

I think of the AOG as basically a well-funded warlord state. I'm doing a new AAR based on that concept.

I mean, in KR we only got Yunnan and the ma clique as warlord states, it would be cool to have a lot of warlord states, like Shandong, shanxi, a turkish Xinjiang (that can be annexed by a turkenstani player and maybe cause a war between turkenstan and china), a warlord state holding the area of Chongqing, etc

We've considered something like this, but the Chinese rework has moved beyond that, the planning phase is effectively over and we're preparing for implementation. Here's a preview of the map as it's going to be. Initially, the AOG will be holding very little land directly, and will be working through local Chinese client warlords, but this situation will collapse early on in the game, giving the AOG the possibility to take more land to control directly.

Is that green faction Shangqing Tianguo?

Edit: And what's that red faction, between the Qing and what I assume must be the AOG client state?

Shangqing Tianguo was moved to Shandong province from what I can see here, and it looks like while Germany has retained possession of Qingdao, the rest of the Shandong Peninsula has been given to the Legation Cities. The green, I can only assume, is one of the Shanxi warlords, perhaps a leftist faction similar to Mao's communists in OTL.

Also, it looks like the AOG got a lot bigger.

Actually, it looks like AOG was reduced to a few coastal provinces. The yellow tag that surrounds Guangzhou appears to be new, though.

I just had the weirdest East-Asian war since I have started playing KR years ago. I thank everyone for that, because it was great to watch.
So Mongolia became an empire and stormed Xibei and Tibet, than they attacked ST (I can't remember the proper name), with the Qing from the east. Now that doesn't seam to be that big of a thing, but in the south RoC rebelled and they defeated Yunnan.
Japan attacked Mongolia while they were fighting ST, than the Qing attacked Mongolia. Mongolia became a Japanese puppet with Tibet as a puppet too. Than RoC attacked Qing, and annexed it. After only a few weeks Japan attacked RoC. (In around a year or a bit more there were provinces with at least four owners.)
That was not even the end of it, because RoC gathered his army and annexed Tibet. They made a last line defense in Lhasa which was so successful, that they couldn't been beaten for a year. (After that I helped out the Japanese, because it became embarrassing for them.

I'm trying to play the Spanish civil war as the Kingdom of Spain and other countries (germany, mittelafrika) send me aid in the form of new divisions but I don't receive them. Events fire teling me that aid has arrived, new infantry/militia division appears etc. but I don't actually get the units. I tried switching to both carlist spain and CNT FAI, but the same thing happens to them as well: I don't receive any event spawned units. The AI receives units just fine, so I guess the events are just for the AI to make the SCW more difficult for the player?

Is this WAD or a bug?

I'm trying to play the Spanish civil war as the Kingdom of Spain and other countries (germany, mittelafrika) send me aid in the form of new divisions but I don't receive them. Events fire teling me that aid has arrived, new infantry/militia division appears etc. but I don't actually get the units. I tried switching to both carlist spain and CNT FAI, but the same thing happens to them as well: I don't receive any event spawned units. The AI receives units just fine, so I guess the events are just for the AI to make the SCW more difficult for the player?

Is this WAD or a bug?

Did you check your deployment menu? Units granted by events that aren't set to spawn in a specific location go there.

Does the Qing event after you've dealt with Japan where you can choose to extend your sphere into South-East Asia actually lead anywhere? I selected that and it just seems to be a dead end.

Two things:

First as the Qing, is it possible to take back all of Outer Manchuria from Russia or is the limit Transamur?

And secondly as the UoB, how does exactly one trigger the Lawrence based civil war (in terms of previous choices and required actions) and what flavour is there for Lawrence's home restoration in terms of events or decisions? Do the UK events intended for a former Canada port over and does a Lawrence Britain also regain the leadership of the Entente?

EDIT : Also, can the UoB annex and integrate Ireland as national provinces or are they forced to release a puppet Ireland?

And are there events distinguishing a UoB made Socialist Canada compared to a CSA one and is there a path for the UoB upon "Liberating" it's former colonies or is it just the same as homebrew socialism in those entities?

Finally is there still flavour for Australasia to join Mitteleuropa or was that removed as implausible?
