I had this problem as well; look back 5 or so pages for answers (I was able to successfully install the mod and hotfix in the end).I can click ignore, and I checked the savedebug.txt and most of the errors seem to be about nationalities and map colors. And I haven't applied the fix. Where does it go?
Where did I say that?! I literally said that, although ministers are important as they do improve the game, it's not the most important use of their time. Show me a quote where I said that I believe they should spend more time on ministers as opposed to new flavor events and bug fixes; otherwise, stop with the false accusation.Except what you're saying is that the devs should spend time on ministers instead of actually improving the game. You'd much rather have flavor (which nobody will care about) instead of fixing broken events and adding more to the game.
I think that the ministers are okay, i would rather like improvements like AI.You said that ministers should also be worked on instead of working on improving the game. The fact that you deny that is rather disturbing.
There are ways to make Paradox game AIs not terminally stupid when not relentlessly following a script?I think that the ministers are okay, i would rather like improvements like AI.
Communist France too strong while German way to weak. AI German in most games was easily defeated by Communist France in very short time. Give AI German some buff like more fortification line or more troops plz. In many of my games the Kaiser fled to Africa before 1940, and the whole Europe was dominated by Communist France (sometimes Russia Empire.)
AI Puppet nations and AI allies (especially Nationalist France and USA) sometimes very passive, just build their armies in the capital cities and make no move to support their allies.
Quick question: what series of events prevents (or radically puts off) the second American Civil War? I'm playing as Greece and it's 1939 and it hasn't fired. I even checked the Taken Losses stat and sure enough it didn't happen. Didn't know it was possible to avoid, always heard and saw otherwise.
Not sure I agree about France being OP, they usually lose significantly more troops than Germany even in victory. Also, from a realistic point of view, we're looking at a militarized France against a Germany that is resting on its laurels, basically a reverse situation of the beginning of the second world war, only Germany is still an active imperial power and therefore fields a more modern and prepared military than historical France did in 1939. Nationalist France also isn't allied to Germany, because Germany is in its own alliance of puppet states that is separate from the Entente. You're also ignoring the dice rolls involved, such as whether or not the Russians and Ukrainians adopt Communism (in which case Germany should absolutely lose), and whether or not Communist Britain supports France. Also, I rarely see the USA join the Entente in time anyway because they're still in a civil war when France and Germany declare. There are other things to note too, like the fact that the mod isn't supposed to be perfectly balanced (the communist nations are supposed to have a slight advantage), and some of the countries you're recommended to play have nearly impossible goals (like Canada's invasion of Britain).
As for the AI, much of that comes from the base game. It's a complaint that is for the game devs not the mod devs. There are a multitude of KR events that are designed to correct the issue of passive ally AI, some of them outdated.
When I play other mods based on AOD or original HOI, allies will keep sending expeditionary force which really makes me feel the country I'm playing is a real colonial empire with real allies and puppets. Now I'm feeling... a bit lonely! Anyway just a complaint and thank you for answering me.
