Would you mind posting a screenshot of your folder tree - that is, your DH folder, the mod folder and the KR folder? I can't think of anything else other than a really bad install, really.
I'm playing as commune of France and there's a decision called "women's role in the army". The decision is unavailable to me apparently, but it says one of the requirements is to have a syndicalist government (which I do obviously).
You need to be at war and have low manpower. You can cheese it by starting a bunch of unit productions to drop manpower, triggering the decision, then deleting all the productions you don't want.
This decision has always bugged me actually; its consequences should be far greater than the minor dissent hits it has now.
I mean, even disregarding everything else, the social issues and all that- women are going to need different lodgings, clothes, and washrooms, and etc. than men, which is actually a pretty significant drain on the budget. This is one of the big reasons why nations that have military conscription even today do not extend the same for women, simply because it costs too much.
At the very least, I think that this should be represented by adding a +supply consumption modifier on land units or something when taking the decision.
Well I don't think it should be a peacetime option for female conscription but it's not.

It's meant to be kind of a desperation measure for countries other than England. The Union of Britain has an entire political party/faction made up of feminists who can end up leading the government, so I imagine they're actually capable of fully integrating women into the military.
Ah, well that was silly of me...
Anyway, I'm having another issue. Every time I give the order to attack the game crashes, I do have the latest patch, though I downloaded it after installing kaiserreich so that might have something to do with it. If anyone could help me with this I'd appreciate it a lot.

There are tons of possible paths for each of the major powers. Austria, for instance, by 1937, has an event chain called the Augsleich, where they can either try to keep the Austrian-Hungarian Empire as is, or consolidate all of the Habsburg lands into direct Vienna rule, or anything in between. And each component nation of the empire (Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia, Galizien and Bohemia) can accept or deny whatever Austria demands, which can lead to Romania, Germany, Poland, Serbia and/or Italy intevening or not on Austrian-Hungarian affairs... That's the magic of Kaiserreich, there's not a fixed history or a fixed path for each country. Since there are dozens of different storylines happening simultaneously for each country, and each event chain affecting potentially affecting the rest of the world, there's no game like the other.
I'm not going to spoil the fun for you. My advice is, just build up your army and expect anything.
My opinion is build 9 divisions in all of the provinces on your borders with Germany/alliance, wait until Germany almost beats France/Spain then invade, that nets me control of all of Europe by 1944. This strategy requires you to Centralize the Empire and getting the Minor states to accept.

Been playing a US run and managed to finish off the PSA January 7 1938, ending the Civil war as the Democratic run Federal Government. Most of the end events go through fine, but every time I try to click on the "New England returns to the Union" event, the game just completely freezes up.
Using DH and running the 1.4 plus the beta mod from Steam.
Any help would be appreciated.

well i used mexico, the americanas are getting tore up in there civil war. i pretty much got all my southern territories back plus louisiana back!
