That is entirely up to you, but the general idea with most Qing Empire games is to reunify the old parts of the Empire. But, really, you'll find out most by actually playing the game.

On the imperial federation topic, it might be plausible to have a proto-EU type organisation. E.g. All the currencies pegged to each other (the equivalent of the OTL Sterling Zone) and perhaps a customs union (which would have to include a free trade deal with the US) as well as an integrated military command structure. Or perhaps even the equivalent of OTL's French Community (Brittanic Community might be the term used in the Kaiserreich universe).

Mechanics wise this could be implemented as the kind of puppet system Austria uses at the start of the game. Of course you'd have to have an event chain where each country gets the chance to reject the proposal and go its own way as well in order to make it balanced.

Personally I think that might be a plausible outcome but then again I also consider it implausible that the Germans were able to grab all the British colonies anyway so I accept that the final call rests with the devs for the mod.

(After all, you can always mod your own events if you like.)

Isn't that basically what we already have? Imperial piloting schemes, Imperial science and tech schemes, Imperial infrastructure schemes and so on.

This is what I was saying a while back.

I'm against the "Imperial Federation" it's just not really realistic. I prefer the current setup with events for Imperial cooperation.

But I would really like the chance to swithc tags to UK as Canada and keep my hard built navy and army

Was just worried that if I did something(as Germany) it might screw up an event chain or such. I started playing KR around the time the 'All the Russias' guy kinda disappeared, and I love how far its come. It genuinely is almost its own game at this point.
Though I must admit I miss all the 'independent' German political parties, I always wondered what he intended to do with those.

Started a game as Russia, and in my first battle my leaders die literaly every hour. Is this a bug? The misc file doesn't show anything unnormal. Or is it because of low manpower of the divisions?

Edit: Sorry... I was stupid... launched the wrong Kaiserreich -.- Everythings normal as it should be.

I think people forget that your units are Canadian units, men recruited from Canada.

If you don't like the UK setup no one is forcing you to play it.

BTW you can manually transfer units to the UK anyways before you switch over to it.

That is because there is no entry in the event files about a Syndicalist take-over.
I could see Delhi having a negative reaction to Habibullah Kalakani taking over. I suppose it'd really only matter if Afghanistan descends into chaos - even with India still divided, the Delhi government might still have reason to act to encourage relatively stability on the north-western border. Most likely they'd simply give some support to Mohammed Nadir to increase the probability of he being the one to come out on top, certainly no puppeting or anything.

There is one issue, though (I'd fix it myself if I wasn't certain I'd break something along the way like that time I tried to extend the Commune to France's surrender to Germany to allow an independent German Union to get it) - all of those schemes require U07 to not exist, and are not extended to the restored United Kingdom if it is later liberated.

I've played with it a little more and narrowed it down: it's related to a unit upgrade. I was able to delay it indefinitely by cutting funding for upgrades to 0. When I put funding back towards upgrades, the freezing eventually happened, just later.

I declared war manually both times.

Milites: Narrowing it down further, I *believe* the bug is related to the upgrade of my cavalry units. My infantry, militia, and interceptor units all displayed upgrade messages without freezing up. The only upgrade message I can't seem to make happen from the save I linked you is the one for cavalry units.

It's very odd. I tried to play ahead for half a year or so before relocating IC to upgrades and then it went along without any CTDs. Very strange.

I think people forget that your units are Canadian units, men recruited from Canada.

If you don't like the UK setup no one is forcing you to play it.

BTW you can manually transfer units to the UK anyways before you switch over to it.

It makes sense that a previously radical British state would be occupied by Canada for a while before it being ready for independence.

And really, who wants to go through all that just to end up with a defenceless nation? Give the UK its navy and some free units.

I think condition for japanese surrender should be changed.

I control all of Korea and all of japanese continental provinces plus Fengtieng but since Korea is not their national province after the korean uprising the event can't trigger because of "10% national province lost" trigger

The devs have made their position clear; I won't pester them anymore for Imperial Federation. If you are playing a more assertive Canada, simply annex the UoB and release the UK as a puppet. You keep all your ministers, leaders and units and you can justify it as being a temporary measure until the syndicalist elements have been purged, with the Empire continuing to be governed from North America. Post game is headcanon anyways.

edit - what I will do is thank the devs for making the best HoI experience to be had anywhere, bar none. Kaiserreich is simply amazing and you guys have my admiration and respect for putting out such an incredible game.
