But is is only a problem in 1.4 Beta to isn't it?

It's so weird, never had any problems and I don't play with the fix. :s
And the French-German border has been frozen many times even before the "problem" happened.
That's the interesting thing with KR, sometimes Germany pwnz, sometimes France does, and sometimes a stalement happens.

But this stalemate is caused by the bug in the battle-system. I also told you about Yunnan which wins with 4 divisions against my 20 tank and 20 mot divisions in combination with 28 ground attacking cas squadrons.

Other expamples:
- 12 surrounded German divisons in Riga are not beatable after I attack with more than 100 divisions from 3 provinces together with all my air support.
- 2 French divisions are able to hold an incoming army of 68 divisons with full organisation during 3 days. After the defenders got only 7 more divisions to defend, the batlle is useless beacause you make no more battle progress.

Yeah, in mountains and stuff like that you have to outnumber your enemy by insane ratios without the fix. Basically, wars between small countries in Asia are either pure luck or neverending.

Yeah, but I don't fight in mountains except in China. It is really regardless whether you fight between two plain provinces in Ukraine, Germany or between hill provinces in Alsace-Lorraine.

EDIT: If I take a took into the battleoverview, all my tank divs (I repeat plain provinces!) only have 9-12% attack efficiency while the 12 surrounded defenders have a defense efficiency of 184%! In some other provinces, their defense efficiency is 286% without any fortifications.

Used the download in Davisx3m's post last page, #5213, and it mostly works. There's a bug with Strategic Redeployment, however, where you order the redeployment and the unit enters the queue, but then after a few days is returned to its starting province and proceeds on foot. Any ideas?

Hmm I was able to use Strategic Redeployment while playing Turkestan without any problems :S

Ever since installing KR 1.4 Beta 1 for DH I've been unable to perform amphibious assaults. I can use transport ships to load and unload troops into mine and my allies' territory, but not into enemy's. Any idea why is that?

Amphibious Assaults are now tied to the tech tree. There is a Technology Branch under Naval Doctrines that increases (and earlier, ALLOWS) Amphibious assaults. Keep in mind, i believe the maximum army size that can preform Amphibious Assaults is around 8 units or so.

I've had this strange bug where I have a unit attack into a province, and then it'll teleport to a different province and attack from there, even if it isn't connected.
Thats a bug with DH, apparently. This is linked to the teleport problem, where some times your troops will spawn back at origin or random place near destination. I have experienced it many times now with 1.03. I've had several of those, and units from China invading across the map over to Siberia. And I got units spawn back at vladivostok when I TPed them to pearl harbor.

To avoid this, the units who redeploy must be left alone for a few days.

Please make reports about this in the tech forum. The Dev, need to take a look in this.

so is there any way that one of the team leads could put up the darn current kaiserreich 1.4 beta on your first page.

ya know just so it would be easier for someone to download the working mod just from here.

Or put a separate "download" section on your old forum site. It is 2013 guys. trying to find your 1.4 beta download is a pain in the ass.

You would get lots more downloads if you put all the downloads under their own heading on your forum. Kinda like lots of other modders have been doing for years. :)

i am germany and is 1940 i am in stalemate with france is not that they unbearable is that they move their troops to were i am attacking and remember the border is full of forts you have to get creative open a 2nd front from them

I had the same problem. To fix it, make sure that your units are standing still and aren't already moving to another province when you give the strategic redeployment order.

Is it intentional that more modern ships have lower Sea and Air Defense values than older ships of the same class? I don't get it.
I believe that's because of the renaming of "vulnerability" to "defence"... You obviously want as little vulnerability as possible, that's why it's decreasing with increasingly modern ship models. Whose idea it was renaming it to "defence" without changing its function I don't know, but a very smart thing to do it definitely wasn't.

I have been playing kierseriech in 1.02 for a while now and I just installed DH 1.03 and then I installed the new kieseriech for 1.03. It looked like it was working but then the sprites diddnt work.So I turned the counters on.Then I started playing. Within seconds the game crashed. I have tried multiple countries.

I have 2 issues with gameplay, both related to Austria.

1) The garrison of Austria in the greek island immediately dies of lack of supply, every game. I am wondering if this is intended or not.

2) the last two games I have played Austria has given literally all of their units (except garrisons) to Hungary, I am pretty sure they chose to keep things the same so Hungary remained their puppet and they never went to war; however this also meant they never became allies. So when they sent ALL of their units to Hungary(which in itself is really weird) Hungary was unable to send them back due to them not being allies(not sure if they would even send them back, though). Austria even did this while they were at war with Italy, which resulted in them immediately getting conquered.

I tried one thing which was to cheat and give them back manually, but they just gave them back right after.

Does anyone else have this issue?

EDIT: also to clarify, I am using the most recent version of KR with no modifications to it.

I should point out that it's the opposite for land units though, which suggests there's a mistake in either one or the other.
