Installation Instructions

1) Make sure your copy of Darkest Hour is patched to version 1.05 or 1.05.1
2) Download the mod from any of the above links
3) Extract the .rar file to Darkest Hour\Mods - do NOT overwrite a copy of DH Full
4) By using the Darkest Hour launcher, select Kaiserreich in the bottom right drop down menu
5) Enjoy!

A Few Words on Bugs

Kaiserreich contains thousands of events made over the course of a decade. If you find a bug which has been reported but not fixed in the current version, it is not because the Kaiserreich team is out to get you, but more likely because we simply overlooked it. Please report it in as a detailed way as is possible and we'll do our best to fix it.

A Few Words on Future Versions

Kaiserreich for Darkest Hour is getting its second version since its ”rebirth”, a year ago. It still happens so that future versions for KRDH depends on you. We have got quite a fem more coders for KRDH, but we could always need more. Kaiserreich lives and florishes in Hearts of Iron 4, the difference is that there are many more coders there, lot's of them. We (KRDH veterans) more than anyone would love to see KRDH live on but there just is no time for us to continue the development. If you feel like you want to contribute and bring everyone more joyous updated, please contact Zankoas on our Discord Kaiserreich Discord.

Played it with Russia, so I'll post a couple of bugs.
I started as Denikin, with the Patriarch and all that religious support there too, and I tried to stay calm. Until the Russo-Kazakh war happened. I made a peace with some territories for me, etc.
Later Civil War started. I was winning, yet random "Kazakh lands taken by Kazakhstan", "Don Kuban takes X territories" even if I was at war AND kicking Kuban ass.
Also, with no reason whatsoever, with a dissent of 20 and close to winning the Civil War, I woke up with Siberia getting independence, and I was like WTF.

Thank Lord I can claim territories now+acceptall cheat and get whatever I want :D

I tried it, but I didn't get it to work :S
Really? I just tried it and it works fine for me. The only thing that might need to be done is make sure that it is in the right folder in the Mods folder. The default is /Kaiserreich while the mod is in /Kaiserreich for DH 1.0. And there might be an extra /Kaiserreich left in there from extracting.

Place the Kaiserreich folder in the Mods folder in DH.
