The CSA Navy roamed through the Pacific, liberating many islands from the Japanese oppressors.

csa0173.jpg

In November, a large part of the Japanese Army was discovered on Eniwetok.

Eventually, on January 13, 1951, Japan capitulated.

@Fenrir1576:
Currently, the CSA has lots of puppets, but no formal alliances. Therefore, these states are my puppets, but they are not at war with my enemies.
And releasing a large SovietUnion...well, it will take years to conquer all that territory, and after that, the USSR would need time to build up her Army.
I think that using Ireland as a staging area against the Internationale, sinking all the internationale navies and destroying all their lines of communication before liberating them might be the better way.
Furthermore, I am not sure if I want any state that would be so large that it could cpompete with the CSA - the CSA should be the only superpower on this planet.;)

@Everyone else:
Yes, I was a little impatient...and the red button looked so enticing.....

Chapter XXVIII: Cutting the Qing Empire (January 25th, 1952 – March 23rd, 1952)

The war against the Qing Empire started on January 25th.

csa0185.jpg

The first combat reports looked better than anticipated

csa0186.jpg

After less than 2 weeks, Beijing was encircled

By late March, the Qing regime had fled to Nanjing. The CSA managed to cut the Qing empire into two parts, but the last two months of heavy fighting resulted in a heavy toll. It was necessary to go over to the defensive until the losses can be replaced. However, at this point, it was obvious that time was on the side of the CSA.

Chapter XXIX: The downfall of the Qing Empire (March 24th, 1952 – January 4th, 1953)

It took until the mid of May to replace the losses incurred by the previous offensive.

csa0188.jpg

Totalism for Nepal and Bhutan!

csa0189.jpg

By September, Nepal and Bhutan had been liberated!

csa0190.jpg

With the last pockets of Qing resistance in the north being overrun, the next bastion of the reactionists was ready for liberation.

csa0191.jpg

By October 19th, the Qing empire was cut into two pieces (again).

On November 23rd, 1952, Mongolia capitulated. As a peace-loving nation with no imperialist ambitions, the CSA immediately started spreading peace, totalism and prosperity in Asia.

csa0192.jpg

By late December, the Qing empire was collapsing.

Chapter XXX: Into Siberia (January 4th,1953 – September 19th, 1953)

With the fall of the Qing empire, the CSA was able to liberate 7 new nations that immediately joined the family of totalism.

csa0195.jpg

Since the disbanding of the militia divisions at the end of the second American Civil war, the CSA had only two types of divisions:
Infantry divisions (with artillery) and Garrisons (with military police detachments).

This would change…

csa0196.jpg

csa0197.jpg

On February 12, 1953, the liberation of Siberia started. (Attacking Siberia in February was judged as an decision that would give the CSA the element of surprise).

csa0198.jpg

A few days later, Oman was invaded in order to establish a bastion of totalism in the middle east

csa0199.jpg

csa0200.jpg

The advance of the CSA into the middle east continued.

csa0201.jpg

A serious setback for world totalism

In order to counter the fall of Mongolia, a quick advance into Irkutsk was done. By June 4th, Irkutsk was taken. Thereby, a link to the CSA troops cut off by the fall of Mongolia was established and a few CSA forces in southern Mongolia were cut off.
The major operation is further north….
57 Siberian divisions are defending Kachung. Meanwhile, the CSA is advancing towards Cheremkhovo, attempting to cut off their retreat route.

csa0202.jpg

A few days later, a large part of the Siberian Army was encircled.

csa0203.jpg

Meanwhile, the war in the middle east was a complete success

csa0204.jpg

In late July, another (much smaller) encirclement was done in Tayshet.

csa0205.jpg

On August 13th, Novosibirsk was taken

After advancing towards Sverdlovsk, Siberia capitulated on September 19th, 1953.

With all of these wars, the CSA must employ a lot of foreign men into their military from puppet nations. Gotta have men at home to reproduce and work at factories somehow.

Chapter XXXI: Russia (September 20th, 1953 – June 13th, 1955)

For several months, the CSA recovered from the losses of the previous fights.

Then, on April 1st, 1954, it was time to liberate the people of Russia.

csa0207.jpg

A few hours after the start of hostilities, Ufa and Orenburg were taken by airborne troops.

csa0208.jpg

After this, the advance was much slower than anticipated. In July, the armored divisions were able to break through in the north, encircling a very limited number of Russian divisions in Izhevsk.

csa0209.jpg

In the next two months, the armored divisions spearheaded towards the border of Ukraine (currently occupied by the Commune of France). The Russian Empire was cut into two pieces.

csa0210.jpg

In late November, Gorky was taken – this encircled a few units while at the same time, it stabilized the split of the Russian Empire.

csa0211.jpg

By the end of 1954, the split of the Russian Empire was secure. The next objective was the capture of Archangelsk – once a harbor in northern Russia was save, it would be possible to grant independence to the eastern territories (including Siberia), thus freeing a lot of troops that were currently assigned to garrison duties.

csa0212.jpg

By March 20th, Archangelsk was liberated.

csa0214.jpg

Immediately after this, Transamur, Siberia and Mpngolia received their independence as free, totalist nations.

By May 22nd, Petrograd was taken. The Russian government fled to Moscow, but just two days later, it was encircled.

csa0215.jpg

As the southern part of the Russian Empire had collapsed, it was time to go after the regimes in Georgia and Azerbaijan.

csa0216.jpg

By June 5th, Moscow was taken. The Russian government fled to Smolensk.

Two days later, Georgia capitulated.

And on June 13th, it was over….

313 land divisions….and the CSA consists of OTL USA + Canada.
In real life, 16 million were drafted/recruited into the US Armed forced.
A problem, yes…
impossible? No.

With regard to factory work…the CSA should have no problems using women as factory workers (as the USA did in OTL).

Chapter XXXII: The cold war (June 14th, 1955 – April 1958)

On June 14th, Soviet Russia, Idel-Ural, the Don-Kuban Union, Azerbaijan and Georgia became independent. However, far too much territory was still under direct CSA occupation…..

The navy was modernized – 20 heavy nuclear and 60 light nuclear cruisers were ordered. They would be finished by the end of 1957 in order to work as escorts for the 28 (In June 1955: 20) heavy carriers.
The 12 heavy Battleships would receive 6 light carriers as escorts.
Furthermore, 72 Nuclear Attack Submarines were launched.

On the political front, it was obvious that the Internationale was not only following a questionable way by going the way of socialism, but also the way of imperialism – India, Ukraine, Slovakia, many areas in Africa, the middle east and other places remained under occupation by the Commune of France and the Union of Britain. Basically, it was the classic game of colonialism.

It was the CSA’s duty to guard the borders of the free, totalist world wherever it bordered to socialist states. President Reed called this an “Iron curtain of Socialism” that had to be torn down in order to secure world peace.

Later, the CS Navy was reorganized into 7 carrier task forces – each consisting of 4 fleet carriers, 2 heavy nuclear cruisers and 6 light nuclear cruisers.
Six of these task forces were stationed in Ireland, one in Kuwait.

Three Battleship task groups, consisting of 4 super heavy battleships, 2 Escort Carriers and 6 Destroyer Squadrons. As the CS navy only had 11 super heavy battleships, the third battleship task force consisted of 3 super heavy battleships and one nuclear heavy cruiser.
Two Battleship task forces were stationed in Ireland, the third in Kuwait.

The 72 nuclear attack submarines were organized into 12 task forces consisting of 6 boats each. 2 of these task forces were stationed at Pearl Harbor, the remaining 10 in Boston.

52 tac bomber, 4 strat bomber, 20 Interceptor and 8 fighter units were stationed in Ireland – this represented the majority of the CS Air Force. The rest was stationed in the middle east in order to support the CS Army.

At this time, a last effort of President Reed to preserve world peace without bloodshed failed. He offered a guarantee for the territorial integrity of the Commune of France, the Union of Britain, the German Union and the Socialist Republic of Italy. They could follow their socialist way within their borders – but they had to give up their imperialist occupation of foreign territory.
