K2 Weekend Game Organizing thread

Here and elsewhere I have proposed a two day weekend game running both on Saturday and Sunday for the K2 Group and others.

The basic topic of this thread is to determine who would be available to play on both days and who would be available to play only on Saturday. The point is to keep the regular Saturday game going, while seeing if there is enough interest and a potential host for playing on both days.

So in addition to any comments you might have on the idea, I want to know who is interested in playing on both days of the weekend, 15:00 GMT to whenever, and who can only commit to Saturday. Also looking also for a host who has at least 800 K/bits per second upload for the two days, which I can not do.

well sure i can join. but not this weekend, and ill proberly cant join everyday, but i would love to be a smaller country and jump in when i can.

i can also host i have 24mbit down and 2 or 8mbit up, ops! i have´t hosted before so i dont have a clue how i should do

Cueball: Is the saturaday/ sunday game that you are talking about the same new game as the one that will be started at sunday. If it is, is the start of the game still on sunday, or is it changed to saturday. Would be good to know maybe.
And can once again propose my wich to play Italy on that new game.
And least: Will the new game be played at the same time on saturdays as the K2 game, then there would be about beeing a sub for the 2K game. If thats the thing, I think I will skip that game and go for the new one, even though I really enjoyed playing with you guys at K2 (Especially with the Canadian guy) dont remember who it was but he was really nice. Well I show up on valkyrienet on saturdey so.

Aki Mackensen's game is Aki's game, and I can't speak for him. Nor do I want to screw up his organizing efforts, as we all know how complex this issue is, and it looks like you have a game going for Sunday, which is great.

I just thought if we co-ordinated a little we might be able to get two game happening, one for people with more time, and one with people with less time.

So two games... one on Saturday, and one on Saturday/Sunday.

I just thought it might be the more sensible use of a relatively small pool of gamers. As it is now I know we have players conforming to my limited schedule for Saturday but some want to play on both days. I am trying to figure out a way around this.

So for instance people like Nico, King Tiger and (I think Anger, though he has a game with Anders on Sunday I believe) want to play both days, while people like Cyprian and I really can only take one morning and afternoon to play.

Even if we can't set it up for this next round of games I think its something to look towards in the future.

I don't think that hosting is a problem actually, since there is allways someone that has a good conection.

I could play on either sat or sun, but would have limited hours, maybe 4-5 at most either day. Afternoons work best for me. and I am GMT-5 so it would have to be about 1700 or so. I could possible start earlier but would need about a 15-20 break at about noon...I have a little one that would need to be feed and changed then....ahh kids what a pain, but I love'em :rofl:

Hi all. The basic infromation I am looking for here is who can play both Satruday and Sunday and who can play only one of those days, so far I have:

Ok slight change!! I will be participating in this game. Turns out it's too hard for me to play with the European group do to the time difference. So....Who wants to be part of the next K2 Saturday game???? We usually meet around 1500GMT. Thanks!
