We dont know if its canceled yet or not.. we need to contact/ask Meifist and see.
What we really need to do is extend this game to another day also.. Anger you said you are free Sundays? How about everyone else? Its a good game so far, I'm enjoying playing Germany alot.

BP, is not the end of the world, the NAP only lasts a year, then hopefully the Axis will be busy elsewhere.

Lets see if I can remember most of what happened this session. (hopefully someone else can do better/post screenshots).
-Session started with the much anticipated confrontation with France near Paris.
-to everyones suprise, the confrontation lasted two battles.. one quick battle in the province south east of Paris,and another quick battle in Paris itself..then Vichy fired.
-From there the Axis turned eastward for war with USSR by spring 1940 (after considering sealion, we decided against it).
-Italy abandoned Africa, and the Axis did not mess with Spain or even Greece.
-Soon as the non agression in May ended, Germany attacked USSR.
-Slow advance in the northeast, faster in the south where most of the armor was concentrated.
-Allies tried to releave pressure on the USSR with a failed landing in Sicily
-Ukraine liberated and the USSR retreats for a last stand between moscow and Lenningrad
-Allies make another more desperate landing in Italy, this time in occupied Yugoslavia, this landing is contained, and destroyed. Allied fleet takes damage.
-Italian generals , supported by a few german armor advance on Baku and Stalingrad
-In Fall of 1940 heavy battles around moscow, alot of loss of life, eventually the Russians make one counterattack too many from Moscow and the exausted defenders are pushed out.
-Italian controlled panzers capture Sverdosk, Persia enters the war on the side of the allies and german occupied Baku is captured by Canadians.
-USSR makes a desperate breakout attempt in Leningrad, which is temporarily sucessful. Germans land reinforcements from east Prussia next to Lenningrad and paradrop troopers east of Lenningrad, closeing the trap. Lenningrad then falls while large, but exausted and depleted Russian armies limp to a belated rescue attempt.
-Panzers strike deep into Siberia, liberating the Trans-Urual Republic. This is the last straw for the soviet leadership, and they soon murder Stalin and accept a Bitter Peace with the Germans.
That is where we ended because the Uk player had to go, think it was November 1940.
The ussr has a peace treaty with the axis for the next two years. They have been reduced to something like 64 base IC. Everyone wants to continue playing because the USA player (the two quick battles near paris dont count) and the Japaneese player have not gotten to sink their teeth into one another.
We will continue next week, King, you may want to be another country for the next year or two while the gutted USSR recovers and waits out the imposed non agression pact/peace treaties?
p.s. Finland who never joined me took soviet territory near their homelands... you'd think those SOBs would join me after I hand them a greater Finland....
p.p.s. Finland got more and way more valuable territory from USSR then japan did lol.
I was very happy (obviously) with how things went. It was fun getting a bitter peace in multiplayer, and releaseing puppets (I love releaseing puppets, dunno why lol). Lets see next week how the allies do (we allowed USA to join allies after moscow/lenningrad fell). Will USSR rise again and rebuild their shattered Empire? Only time will tell...

Well it has been decided that we will continue this game despite the Soviet short comings. I agree with that especially beings that the USA and Japan have played the entire session and haven't had much action. It's only fair that we continue. I'm not sure if I want to continue playing the SU or perhaps move onto another Allied prospect, if that's ok with you guys.
