Just woke up and game crashes 100% of the time....

I just woke up today and tried to load up the game and it crashes 100% of the time, but it was working just fine last night. Is anyone experiencing this? Currently Im trying to file the crash folder....

edit: okay I found the crash folder. 9 crashes so far. What am I suppose to report? there are three files, two txt and the crash file.

Did you just update to Windows 1803?

There are alot of changes in it.
I did a fresh install of it with the most upto date hardware drivers/bios.
Windows 10 seems more stable to me now than in 1709, which was problematic for me compared to the previous version.

no Im still windows 7. no updates or anything. I literally logged out of battletech, left you unwatched youtube video paused and went to sleep. So no updates or patches or restarting or anything took place in the last 8 hours.

I had the same thing last night (running Win 7 Pro). I did the beta patch, it restored stability, was able to play normally after that.

Finding the same problem. When it first released I played just fine for a few days. Now? Just locks the system. Sometimes I get the "Windows has encountered an error with Battletech" and sometimes it locks the system so hard my only option is to hard kill the computer and reboot. I've tried checking the local files for errors, nothing. Now I plan on uninstalling. Might reinstall this evening as it takes hours to load a game via Steam.

Try a reboot. I've had issues with the game not exiting cleanly, making starting it (or, indeed another game, in this case Fallout 4) crash on startup. A reboot fixes it for me.
