Just Upgraded to windows 10

The Screen resolution is all weird and I know I have to go to Ck2game.exe, however I have no idea where that is and when I do it on the desktop shortcut I go to properties but I don't see properties or compatibility tab you guys are talking about can I have a step by step process on what to do?

Right-click on this game in Steam. Choose Properties, Local files, Browse local files.

When I boot the game up only the upper left 2/3 of the screen is visible and I cant reach the options menu, the play button, etc.

I would suggest getting to the bottom of your thousand problems first.

(and yes, thats about as helpful as windows help, but realistically, its almost certainly a problem caused by a more general problem among the ones you have)

right click ck2game.exe - properties- compatibility - check "Disable scaling on high DPI settings"

..was the common solution so far.

Or delete the settings.txt, but i assume you will have the same problem again after turning
windowed mode (or borderless mode or both, not sure) on.

edit:
Actually it could be a resolution issue only after looking at your attached pic again, so
not "the same issue". Try by deleting settings.txt first or edit the resolution in the file itself.
