Since you can now use factions to influence your empire ethics, and also as usual can remove negative traits, doesn't that make it possible to completely nix the potentially mechanically detrimental aspects of the Horizon Signal chain?

Eh, considering how rare it is (I've seen it exactly once since that patch), and how great the rewards are even without the ability to remove the handful of negatives... doesn't seem like it'd be that much more powerful

Yes! I've really been looking forwards to that particular aspect of things- switching to a Pacifist government when it makes sense.

Repugnant can stay, though. We don't need other species to love us- we have all the love we need in the Worm, wrapped tight around every loop of our DNA.
