When you play singleplayer as the Soviet Union can you start invading Eastern Europe, and Germany, or do you have to wait till Germany starts invading..? :S

I'm sure it'll be like HoI 2 where you can declare war and invade anytime you want. Just be prepared for some serious repercussions from the rest of the world.

I think as the USSR is a communist country you can start invading whenever you want.

they need to be a big enough threat to you in order for you ro do that. However be rest assured if you neighbours don't do enough bad things for you to do that then the KGB is always ready to lend a hand.
