Now suppose you're a mongol christian with Agnatic Primogeniture succession. We know that mongols are hardcoded Agnatic, and assume my entire realm down to the lowest barony is Primogeniture.

Suppose I decided to matrilinearly marry any female of my dynasty and give the husband a land. This husband will create some sort of branch family of my dynasty thanks to the matrilinear marriage. Now suppose some time has passed and the branch family is dying for several reasons (maybe lack of male successor, celibate, castrated, etc.). My question is simple: Who should succeed the title?

I don't quite understand whenether you are talking about the branch family titles of the main one.
As far as I know branch can't inherit main family titles because they will not get througth the female link.
Contrary you can inherit branches titles onced the get past mentioned martilineal mariages husband because agnatic succession doesn't disable daughter to father inheritance.
Plus in both cases you can count on vassal to liege soccession which works if dynasty branch is dying out.

If the entire line from the female matrilineal marriage has died out, it would go to the Male because it is agnatic.

The game does not check to see if he was married matrilineally, so it passes to his family.

Sorry if I didn't make it clear, I'll explain it extensively right now:

I am Khangan Khal of Byzantine Empire, first son of Khangan Kitquba. As you can see, my dynasty is quite extensive with >200 living members.

3D01FF0779CAB8766B7C5CCCA406A00DBDDBB438

This is my uncle, High Chief Ghunan. Currently he's the oldest member of my dynasty.

0A18034801E5EAC47335B512CB508675E44040F8

Over here, my female dynasty member Chaka, daughter of High Chief Ghunan, is matrilinearly married, producing High Chief Munglig. I consider Munglig as "branch family" from Chaka.

9572B306BB956D3FE2B52F924480BA57E71A8CDA

The successor of Munglig is Ghunan, as expected.

06EECCA5E2D12893AB0D8003710055654F238042

However, look at Doquz, daughter of the founder of my dynasty, Kitquba of Aleppo (my great grandfather)

7AB02B4BDD9681FB9EFBCFFE20E182709E022546

High Chief Megetu of Trebizond is the "branch family" of Doquz. As you can see, his grandfather is of my dynasty (Count Guyug), so no dynasty intermarriage here. By Primogeniture, shouldn't the successor be me, instead of Ghunan? (sorry, not necessarily me, but descendants of High Chief Bodonchar if there's still living eligible members, but at least shouldn't I get more priority?)

Where is this guy the line of children of your grandfather? Is he a older or younger brother of your father?

Was your father younger, but born in the purple? Meaning that he is the Emperor and not the head of your dynasty.

My Grandfather is the Khan of Syria, so no Purple traits for my father. The first purple son is my 3rd younger brother (4th son of my father)

This guy is the third son of the Khan of Syria. My father was older during his reign (~73 when he died), and at that time both Munglig's & Megetu's heir is my father. The second son of the Khan of Syria is already dead. I suspect it goes seniority, but I want to confirm whether this is always the case, or there are some other underlying mechanism

Upload a save? Seriously it is hard to trace these things and it could be something simple, that is being overlooked. But it could be a bug.

The game goes down the list of successors to find suitable candidates, since he is a child with no brothers the game has went back up in his family tree along the male line. Since it was his father whom he inherited his titles from, I can only imagine, since you didn't show anything of the father, that he has no living male relatives and in that case the game then looks for the oldest living male dynasty member.

Alright. Do you want the save from the previous Khangan's reign too? And do you want the latest one, where I've restored Roman & have some kids (and Ghunan is already dead)?

*Can't find the attach button... I remember there's one in the bug reporting, but not here? I'll post in bug report then

I can't attach files even in the bug report forum... It says my quota is exceeded, although I have only uploaded 1 photo before (the buggy Patriarch of Andalusia). It says my quota is only 976 KB, while my saves is 16MB. What should I do?

Oh, both their fathers were previously retinue generals from the great general migration program :D (and still serving when they got promoted to chiefs & high chiefs)

His male Dynastic line is dead, and there a no male descendants of his father who can inherit. Thus the Title is give to the eldest member of his dynasty, through gavelkind succession(???).

That is what it seems to be be IMO. Maybe even Seniority succession. But since his father was the only member of his dynasty his son is the last of his line and it is reverting to the new dynasty as the primary holder.

This can cause issues if you bring in outside claimants and they die, giving land back to another ruler. Creating new dynasties seems to force the line, holdings back the new dynasty that holds it. If his father dies without a son, the title would of gone to his liege - you.

Oh, both their fathers were previously retinue generals from the great general migration program :D (and still serving when they got promoted to chiefs & high chiefs)
Ok, if your uncle dies, making you oldest dynasty member, then you should be the boys hier and he should get smothered by his maid and all will be well. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
