Start when you start, I may take tomorrow off from work, not quite sure yet but in any case, I have every bit of faith in Japanese AI to get pre-war stuff done for me. Ill join in on the weekends and randomly when I dont go to work. Presence of Soviet Union is more important than presence of Japan. We can work something out eventually, maybe MC of Japan to Germany/Italy when Japan goes to war or something.

Answering to the FRA/CHI well, i'll consider moving elsewhere, i just picked Brazil cause i am not 100% safe of attending to every game, a comet may fall on my head at any time, but I could switch before game bagan as you propose maybe, guess we should discuss :mellow:.
Btw, I have always wanted to make these games more 'spicy' :ninja:
So, I have a proposal,
We all could have 1 land leader, each of us... Who? Ourselves!
We can each choose the martial looking picture we each want for our leader.
Base skill would be 1 (mostly so it can be promoted from the beginning if ppl want to).
Regarding the skills/traits:
We could all have 3 base 'points' to spend on them.
Old guard + 1 point
Logistic Wizard - 1 point
Defensive - 1 point
Offensive - 1 point
Winter - 0.75
Trickster - 0.75
Engineer - 0.75
Fortress Buster -0.75
Panzar Leader -0.75
Commando -0.75
You can pick as many of these as you want as long as you could 'pay' for them. In case you choose a combination which doesn't spend all the 'points' (or even none), we could add as base skill/experience. For the first 0.5 remaining points, would add 1 skill. Then, for each remaining 0.25 points, would add 25 experience. This is, on one hand, to promote everybody to spend as much as possible in traits and so anybody choosing a 2.50 cost (or 3.50, if they went old guard) get somewhat 'rewarded' for not switching to the more costly traits just to spend it all. On the other hand, if somebody went 'all skill, no traits', would not get a staggering high level as reward as later points give less skill, just a high one, which is a decent strategy as well... (Max, w/o traits, is 1 base + 1 for the first 0.5 points + 2.5 for the remaining points = 4 skill, 50 experience). Obviously, there is also the 'mixed' option.
I could do the edits myself and people would pick their choices once we're bored playing 1936 at Slow speed, as in 36 there is no war anyway and it can 'wait'.
We could talk more about this this eve, I think it can even lead to face-to-face combats so I feel it could be funny.

It's a bit late here, and I need to get some sleep, don't think I can manage to get up in 3 hours to play and then get through the day at work. Sorry!
