Joys of Steam Cloud saving

This is why I'm never saving on Steam Cloud again... I could live with my Castile 1454 corrupted file and with my Ottomans 1508 corrupted file, but with Russia, in 1800, less than 21 year before the end of the game with Austria AND Bohemia in a PU with victories in wars over Great Britain in Americas and over France for Austrian succession... No, no, no, NEVER saving on Steam Cloud again.

Why don't you use local ironman save + make a backup of the save folder?

Because I was an idiot. Simple as that... I thought Steam Cloud wouldn't fail me so often... Now I'm just keeping to local...

But you do realize that the Steam Cloud is also LOCALLY available on your drive, right?
Perhaps it became corrupt due to poor internet connection. In any case, I would not blame Steam right away.
