Question: Is it possible to join campaign/story games that are in progress?
Having played through two whole chapters whilst waiting for a single player to connect, I'm guessing that the answer to this is "no". But then, I have my doubts, as the absurd number of password-protected games on display suggests that there is perhaps either a massive public intolerance for pick-up groups, or there is a problem with the password system. Was my game automatically set to require a password when I clicked on the password field? I entered no text in the field, and even when so far as to hit backspace and delete a few times to ensure that there were no "invisible spaces" present in the field before I started hosting.
Secondary Question: If it is impossible to join in-progress games... Why is this abominable travesty so?!
I can understand why this would be important for challenge modes, but surely it would be less frustrating for players if they could simply "jump in" to the action of an online campaign directly. In fact, I expected this to happen when I initially hit the "Quickstart" button. But for me, this seems to have had the same effect as hitting the "Host" button, but with a few moments of waiting added on whilst the game searches in vain for an open lobby.
