This doesn't affect me but I was curious. Is it 18 at the time you sign up, or 18 at the time you are accepted or 18 at the time the beta testers are given their first version (not sure if you mail them, or have the testers download it, or however else your beta distribution works)....

It might make a difference for that one guy who's just a few months too young, or someone else in a similar situation.

I assume it is from when you are accepted if you want to be exact. Probably want you to be 18 from when you sign the Non-Disclosure Agreement.

You must be 18 years of age to be able to sign the NDA. Since we don't know exactly when we will be picking we say 18 at signup to prevent problems.

What is expected from a beta? I'd love to join, but I'd like to know that I can fulfill the reqs like time allocated and such, so that I don't end up being dead meat because it means using half my day or something. I want Rome to be a great game, and would love to help, if I can do that and at the same time live my life and studying and such.

Intend to give an hour a day at minimum + feedback.

I hope we have some successful applicants this time that have access to the dreaded 9xx Intel laptop graphics chipset, we don't want to go through that nightmare again ... or simply say on the box "no Intel!".

I have Intel 945GM on one of my laptops.
