Join Alliance bug in DH 1.04 (RC1)

Playing as USA on July 24, 1960, I attempted to "Join Alliance" with United Kingdom, but the game responded as if I had selected "Bring to Alliance". At that time all nations in Axis and Comintern had been conquered and annexed.

I went back to old saves to see where the response changed. It turns out that the wording of the response is misleading in that it gives the same response when the alliance join fails, regardless of whether the request was to "Join Alliance" or "Bring to Alliance". The wording is "<OTHER COUNTRY> refused to join our MILITARY ALLIANCE." That wording is appropriate when "Bring to Alliance" is refused, but confusing when "Join Alliance" is refused.

Conclusion is that there is no bug, just a misleading message.
