It gave me the chills and sounded like wonderful crossover between the EU IV and Gladiator themes!

It is. Its on all their devdiary recap videos and the Imperator twitter account manager confirmed to me that the song and all others that we have heard so far (including the one from the announcement trailer) will be in the game.
