There's an association between races and (skin) colors. The implication being that being colorblind means not seeing race and thus not being racist (post-racial society, American politics, etc. Not something for a game forum).I think I need this comment explained to me.

Colorblind is not blind to all colors. That's just blind. Colorblind is usually red and green.How do they know white people are white though if they're color blind?

Well, there are various different types of color blindness so it helps to specify them, though you're correct that red-green color blindness (protanopia or deuteronopia) is the most common.
