Why does this sound more and more like the theme* of the expansion will be "Italian Ambitions"?

*In the same way that the previous expansions had a central theme which was affected the most, but also general improvements outside of the theme.

Well, the Italian Wars were a pretty significant event in the time, which is pretty much impossible to simulate right now.

Why does this sound more and more like the theme* of the expansion will be "Italian Ambitions"?

To be honest I don't see this at all, except for an likely increase of provinces in Italy (Still Bavarian Ambotions sound better because of the free cities in the area).
