Playing as Bey of Nisibin. Sunni Jihad for Jeruslem was called, couldn't join the Jihad because Crown laws won't let you fight wars against each other. The My liege declares independence wars against the Seljuks. I can now join the Jihad which I do.

Most of Jerusalem has already been taken by a Shia Jihad so we have 3 counties left to fight. Only me and the Caliph joined the Jihad.

Took a county near my land then trundled over to Jerusalem to help with siege there. Soon as I land in Jerusalem we start fighting, blue on green. :(

If Caliph is a vassal of Seljuks then he is hostile towards you as your liege is in war against them. So only bug in that seems to have is that his army should be shown to be a enemy not an ally.

Really? Thanks, I wouldn't have realised that. /sarcasm I only noticed after the fact of trying to stack my troops with his that he was a war as you don't get notifications except the added ongoing wars icon in the UI. I rarely check all of these when I am a little vassal.

I would have thought no-one actually joining a Jihad might have some relevance to. Thats why the popes crusade mechanic works better than the Islamic religious leaders mechanic, because he is independent.
