Really, this should only be happening with heretics and their parent religion, and the missionary inclined faiths and pagans (so Christianity and Islam). Jewish doctorswere indeed quite common, but I don't remember reading about them spreading their faith. Hell, Judaism isn't that into proselyting anyway! And culture shifts are even worse from a realism standpoint.

honestly, I like me some crazy conversion shenanigans. I mean, I adore seeing the occasional odd Jewish Dutchy or Pagan HRE, But it does seem weird that its happening so often.

You can imagine how damn annoyed I was when the Roman empire converted to some weird Jewish heresy from the provinces.

I do too, thats what gives the game replay value, especially when replaying the same dynasty. I havent played enough lately to tell for myself if unlikely conversions are happening too often, but if they are they need to be balanced. What I dont want to see is something changed simply because people want a replay of history. In that case go get a book and stick to real history. Let the rest of us enjoy the "what ifs" of the game.

Not happening that often for me. Only regular religion flipper besides the pagans are Armenia and Africa.
