You know it wouldn't be impossible to do that. The various art files for species all exist as rigged layers referencing underlying textures, I bet you could feed each texture in to a Deepmind algo (or batch it via a script), copy out the results and make a "alien" texture mod quite easily. Might need some anti-noise filters so it doesnt look dodgy when the thing is wriggling around in the diplomacy view... I'd call it "Stellaris on Acid (retexture)".

Seeing that in HD, gotta say, the plated body armor is absolutely gorgeously done. Might need to make that into a clothing mod for humanoids to go full medieval lol.

Just testing proportions gives me some interesting results:
It legitimately looks like 40k chaos armor after parsing it in DM.

Feeding him in facing the other way, literally gives you voldemort
