So I am in the middle of playing the Bastard's Wound and I decided allow the settlement to continue to exist after I first arrived. I opted to mention this to Wagstaff instead of Jaspos because, for some reason, giving him the news is the only version that earns Sirin's Favor. He gave me a quest to deal with a Sage. After I dealt with that I expected to be able to get Jaspos' quest as well, but I didn't. I think it's called "The Trouble with Knapping." Is this a bug? My brother told me that you are supposed to do both Jaspos and Wagstaff's missions.

You need only one quest to progress the story, but if you would like to get both, you need to clarify your intentions toward the settlement to the first leader, you talk to (in my case, it always was Jaspos), before talking to the other one (not talking to both and only then let the Wound to operate independently).
