Hi, I recently did and “awake and angry” and “the romance of the three kingdoms” run and as soon I signed the peace with the Japanese I realized that Korea was an independent country. I tried to justify on them but I can’t as it turns out the game thinks I still own it, however, I can’t station troops there.
is it working as intended? I really need to build and air base there so I can paradrop Japan and finish this stupid war (they declared on me as soon as the truce ended)
Is there any work around to paradrop Japan without Korea or I’m stuck at a naval race to naval invade them when I achieve naval superiority?
Thanks in advance!

I did the same thing and got the same thing as you describe. I don't own Korea but the game says I won it. If China (and not USSR or USA) beats Japan and the event fires, would it be better to make Korea a Chinese puppet?

I got exactly the same. It’s a bug. Normally, the event should liberate Korea as an independent country.
One thing you may be able to do, if you insist on continuing that game, is to paradrop into the Ryukyu islands from Taiwan, and then from there to Kyushu. It does look ugly though, so good luck!
