I'm playing a GC with Nippon (Japan) with 1.03. This is a real challenge and I'm enjoying the game not withstanding all the revolts; but I've gotta think this last one is a bug. In approximatley 1515 or before (I'm not sure of the exact date) I received an Event notifying me that my revolt index in most of my core provinces was going to go up by 15 for a certain # of months. Unforunately I didn't record how many months but I think it was suppose to be 24 or so. It is now 1531 (ie approx. 200 months later!) and I still have this +15 revolt index. Did I miss something? Did I misread 240 months as 24 months. I mean I thought getting through the Onin Wars (a previous event) was tough but this is brutal.

One other thing can anyone tell me if there are any @#%# good events for the Japanese.

Oops.... never mind. Guess I have to learn to be more patient. Finally in Sept 1542 I got an Event which ended the revolt increase (which was actually only +10 not +15 as I erroneously reported) in all my provinces except Shikoku. I assume I will get an Event to reduce in Shikoku as well at some time. But still a 27+ year civil war is gruesome. I'm still interested to know if Japan gets any good events.

you won't. It's exactly what I reported in the kyushu-daymyo-wins thread. The event-sripter forgot to reduce the revoltrisk in shikoku, but reduced it twice in kyushu. For now, you have to edit it yourself in the savegame or in the event.

Actually the revolt risk in Shikoku was reduced eventually by another event. As I recall I got 1 ruler who caused most of the revolts to stop (except Shikoku) and changed several of my sliders; then several years later I got a ruler who stopped the revolts in Shikoku and changed my sliders again
