Japan- The Rise of Awesome!
Welcome to the daily war radio. My name is Chitose and I will be your host for the entire broadcast.
Today, May 28 1937, our glorious Empire was cowardly attacked by the Chinese vermin! The Emperor ordered our Generals to quickly counterattack the Chinese National Revolutionary Army (the NRA). There are heavy fighting’s in the Chinese city of Beijing. This all for now.
Hakko Ichiu!

Today June 3 1937 the Americans have decided to come to Chinese’s aid! This must not be tolerated! Our ambassador in America has sent a formal request that the American support ends but we’re heard nothing so far from the white house!

Yesterday June 7 1937 the Americans on the USS Panay arrogantly tried to sneak through our waters but they were discovered and a warning shot was fired but ignored by the Americans, then we had no choice but to sink the vessel, the Americans have send a complaint to the Emperor, his highness chose not to reply.
Also, the glorious Imperial Army have crushed the Chinese resistance in the city of Beijing and are now as we speak marching down it’s roads.
Our German allies did today recognise our brother in arms Manchukuo rightful claim to their lands! We also signed an anti- communist treaty with our German allies.
This will be all for now.

Today July 8 1937 our glorious Imperial Army attacked the Chinese city of Baoding, the Chinese are putting up a fierce resistance but they’re no match for the brave soldiers of Japan!
Hakko Ichiu!
Today August 3 1937, the Imperial Army has finally defeated the persistent Chinese defenders who clanged on to the ruins of what was once the Nanshi District.
2 weeks earlier in the city of Baoding.
“Corporal Kato!”
Kato was dragged out of his shock and focused on the person who’d spoken to him.
“Yes Captain Ikeda!” He said and saluted when he saw the three stars on the soldier’s shoulders.
“Snap out of it Corporal Kato, it was only the small pieces this time! I need you to take your men and flank the Machine Gun up ahead. The rest of us will stay here and keep their attention.”
“Yes Captain, It will be done!” Kato saluted and picked his men and told them to follow.
Kato climbed out of what once were a window and stepped out on the street. He started to walk along the side of the street towards where the MG nest was. He could hear the rattle from the British- made Maxim gun. Kato signalled his men to crouch and follow.
He came up to a window and could see the two men manning the MG and took one of his Type 97 grenades, pulled the pin and threw it towards the two men. The grenade exploded and Kato and his men rushed forward to kill any possible survivor. There were no survivor and Kato could successfully signal his Captain that the MG was disabled.
Suddenly they heard shots being fired and two of Katos men fell to the ground with gaping wounds in their bodies.
“Down!” Kato yelled and threw himself to the ground, another of his men died as he was too slow to get down. “Where are the shots coming from?” Kato yelled to his men. “From the rooftops Corporal Kato!”, one of his soldiers yelled back. Kato looked up and could see the men lying on the roofs on the buildings on the other side of the street. Kato took his rifle and fired to shots in a rapid succession and one of the enemies dropped his rifle as he was shot in the head. Then Kato heard a shot and it all went black…
