So i just started a game as minomoto got all of Japan except Kyushu which im having real trouble getting i looked on the forum and saw people saying something about a shogun panel and a decision that lowers your influence by 40 i looked and couldnt find this decision anywhere can someone please tell me where this is?
What you are looking for is the decision "
Enforce Sankin Kotai", which among other things reduces Shogun influence by 40 points. However, you can only enact this decision once, so if you've done it already, it will have disappeared from the Shogunate management window. That might be a possible reason why you can't find it.
Since you want to reduce Shogunate influence, there are a few other options. If your relations are lowered to less than zero, you'll get a monthly influence penalty for every daimyo you are not getting along with. If your prestige is low enough, this will also result in decreasing shogun influence. Finally,
successfully using the "Shogun's forge claim on Daimyo" spy mission will lower influence by 10 points per province (although this will cost you some infamy).
also where can i see how much influence i have? i cant fin d that either
If you are unsure how high your shogunate influence is, look at the numbers next to the circle with the japanese letters at the right side of the screen; the place where you usually find the HRE icon. In the Shogunate management window you can also see the same numbers in a large circle (see the screen shot). If you hover with your mouse key over it, you'll get a box displaying monthly change and the factors influencing this change.
