Well, it seems it should be very easy for USA to win if it enters war by end of year.... so, yah, I agree not much challenge.

But I have been looking at playing Japan in the 1941 scenario because it hasn't conquered half of what Japan has in your screen at June/41, has astronomical amounts of upgrading, behind in techs, many divisions are skeletons, the good divisions are way up in Manchuria and down in Indochina... and then the Communist Chinese join all the rest of the other Chinese to completely destroy any hope the Japanese player might have had to trap some enemy against the mountains. That game will probably be excellent - if human can win and maybe get slightly ready for Pearl???

Really?!? I wanted to fight Germany only, planning against invoking the Embargo, but last time, Germany forced PB (Meant BP - Senior dyslexia...?), Japan joins the Axis, takes China in '41, and that was when my 1/2 baked Amphib landing in Calais went south. Looks like the same outcome is coming this time, so i will have to fight a 2-front war, with no idea of how to beat a Germany with heavily stacked Atlantic Wall.

Germany forced PB,.

What is "PB"? Do you mean Bitter Peace?

Well, should USA not be fighting a 2-front war? It must be twice the challenge of any 1-front war. :)

But, really, it does not look to me like Japan is winning. At least that screen shot, as was noted already, is a China far from defeated.

"1/2 baked" amphibs should fail, should they not? IRL the Allies didn't start by beating "a Germany with heavily stacked Atlantic Wall". IIRC, they got their first lessons about the complexity of invasions by walking ashore unopposed on some north African beach with French journalists filming the event. Maybe apply some lessons from history.

There are many ways to weaken the Atlantic Wall. But it all requires a good plan, suitable equipment/divisions, and experience sure helps. The Allies got that in Africa and Sicily. Definitely the USN must be in good operational shape to make sure the beachhead builds instead of being wiped out. And you need to properly pre-stage before landing a few troops, or same thing will happen again.

And if you don't invoke the Embargo, I think you might get some penalty as in lowered Interventionism perhaps. Never did that, so just surmising. Good luck!

EDIT: Ah OK, dyslexia is not only allowed but preferable because it gives an opposite view to strategy... something that can be very beneficial. :)
